i have filled a bug report to get more attention from dev side and to get the right direction where to go further.
What i have realized: True HD + ATMOS Tracks are round about 150ms out of sync and behind of Video. No other codec has such hugh delay. Actually i don't need to resync audio with any other codec.
My setup has no audio sync setted elsewhere.
I have removed many addons, which are deletable. No change.
Nobody any ideas?

In that thread a sample file was shared and also reflect my issue which is not fixed for me and i want to figure out, why i got that audio drops.
With latest LE10 Release and now master LE11 from 01.feb. the issue has not changed for me.
My system is an asrock 4105j with 8 gb ram and a ssd hdd and connected via 1gbit eth to the network where it has mounted with nfs some folders.
I have enabled debug logging and also component logging (last on LE10) but i've got absolut no indication , why that zootopia or other files has audio drops. i have the drops with passthrough mode and also decoding to multi ch pcm. With multi ch pcm it is worse. So for me the hdmi connection to my onkyo av rz-830 seems to be okay and not the issue. Refresh rate switching is on and the video itself doesn't have any frame skipping during an audio drop. The drops also do not happend on the same frame/scene.
i have playbacked files from nfs mounted folder and also from local ssd. no change. TrueHD doesn't seems always be a problem. The dolby amaze demo has no drop. As also all other hbr audio formats like DTS Master Audio.
On LE11 it is new that i have got the message source is slow, but i can download files with round about 45-50 MB/sec which means around 450-500 MBit. For me it should be fast enough. As i have mentioned above, playback from local ssd the drops are also there.
I hope to get some ideas, what else i can check and try to solve that issue. The kodi thread could be read as, the issue is solved.
I have currently no full dbg log, but i can create one if somebody thinks he/she can see more.

as i mentioned the lib and jar depends on each other. different versions should cause errors.
why not using pre build bins? very easy to answer: you know what is inside. the current addon i have build with prebuild jre is 80 mb in size. hopefully this can be reduced. Also some dependecies can be reduced due the fact that we don't have any control about the pre build bins. also one point: we can build jre for all archs we need: x86_64, arm, aarch64.
and also the prebuild bins are available only for a short time. ant for example is not for download anymore in version 10.2.
how old is your kodi version? maybe a full debug log could help.
@devs: i am currently try to add jre based on openjdk. As Kodi is supporting bd-j menus now this is also the main reason. Some other addons may also have a benefit of it.
i want to hear from you to clarify what are the requirments to be able to add a jre add on to official LE. My plan is:
- libblueray enable bdjava which requires apache ant. This would build also the libbluray.jar. i think this should also added to image as std lib and jar depends on each other (same version).
- apache ant build from scretch. (using host lib is already working) -> is it really necessary?
- building openjdk from source (not working yet, using prebuild tar)
- building jre with openjdk. (not working yet, using prebuild tar)
- jre needs some X libs to be functioinal with awt. Xi,Xtst;Xrender -> currently i am building it analogue like for chrome browser.
what are your thoughts?
there is an addon which is switching automatically to BT when a bt device is connected.
i have got a lot of errors like this:

but for now i don't know if the reason is because i am using a disc.
actually i don't have any bd iso recheck.
i will not post any addon. I want to have a solution which can be included as addon in LE.
at least when build on open source solution i don't know why not to include java support to LE.
but for know bd-j menu is opened but after first selection main menue is displayed without text in the logs it looks like many file read errors. someone above has same problem.
overall performance is poor... but i don#t know if my cpu is too slow

i doubt it will work because rpi is not working with x11 and therefore when i am using 3 x libs for java the whole xserver is still not available and has more dependencies. rpi is working directly on framebuffer for my understanding in LE. mybe i have not read it but no one has a success story on rpi or miss i something?
Some progress information: it seems the jre is depend on some X11 libs which means there will be no rpi builds because rpi is not using X11
as there are repository for arch-bins available i don't think so.
so x86 has his own repo for example.
vpeter thx so far, i will try if it is working with openjdk. if yes my idea is to use openjdk source to build jre for all arch (arm/x86) and use it. i can imaging it would be the only way to get it into LE master.
i would deny the oracle bins.
