Is this for minix xh8 ? Running from sd card? Which build are you using ? I'm still using the rc4 build tried to update some time ago but it gave me errors

I too am getting this issue with the latest 8.0.1 image released on the 25th march. Had no issue with the 12th March version you released? Its as if something has changed bootloader wise between the 2 releases??? several folk seem to be getting this error.

Use your pc to navigate to your minix box using samba share (windows explorer)
Download the s82 img.gz release and put it in the update folder on your box. Reboot the box and it will update automatically for you

Finally got it working on minix x8h. I was holding the recovery and power button pressed and that made it go to recovery menu.
The right way is hold the recovery button and press the power button just once.

If anyone is having problems installing demetris le files try these then update with demetris tar file.I will try but just don't know wich one for minix x8h it has s802 : s82 or s8x2 ? Is it ok to flash sd card with etcher ?

Did you burn the img.gz with etcher or did you just copy the img.gz file onto the sd card?
If the img.gz is correctly burnt onto the sd card and the sd card inserted to the minix x8h box, the next time you boot into recovery it automatically updates your box to dual boot LE and android with LE being the priority if the sd card is inserted at boot
I burned the img.gz with etcher and I get the screen that I attached . Do i have to format the sd somehow ? Do I have to extract the img from img.gz before I burn it ?
Maybe I have to try another sd card ,what kind is better ? -
So i burned the s82 img.gz file using etcher on sd card , enter recovery mode on the minix x8h and pressed reboot , the box always boots to android. What am I doing wrong ? I'm trying to boot from sd card .
Or do i have to install to nand ?

use etcher to burn the img.gz file to your sd card, insert the sd card into the minix box then boot in recovery, LE will boot after it updates and will always boot to LE with the sd card inserted.

Hi all
I'm new to libreelec and I need help getting this work on a minix x8h.
I have a beelink mxiii with s905 and i followed kszaq's guide and it work very good. Now with demetris's s82 for my minix x8h what do I do ?
There's 3 files there tar , img.gz , and zip which one do i use and how ? The minix has 3 usb ports and one sd card port.
Maybe if someone can post a general tutorial how to get this working.

I'm running this on my minix x8h. Use the s82 release
[hr]use this remote config instructions. i have a minix box and followed this using my minix x8h with my harmony, setting the harmony profile as per that tutorial will give you so many more buttons to use within kodi compared to what the minix remote does!
