    As per previous post (#2): enable adjust-refresh with start/stop, then allow double-rates, and whitelist 1080p @ 23.976/24/50/59.94/60.

    Thanks, that worked!

I just set the "adjust-refresh with start/stop" without whitelist. As i tried a 1080p video the first time (and as i forgot to save the selected whitelist ;) ) the player crashed where the first stutter normally appear but after a reboot and without whitelist 1080p videos play smoothly.

Chewitt - Just because i want to understand the background of it and the functionality of whitelist -
Why did you exclude the 29.97 and 30Hz from your list?
Any clue why i had the problem only on 1080p videos and not on 720P
In case of no whitelist - that means that a video is upscaled to the TVs 4K and the refresh rate is taken form the video coding?

In case i use whitelist - wouldn't it be necessary to whitelist the 720p resolutions as well?

    Hi!

I tried LE 10 on my old Intel NUC (D34010WYK / Intel® Core™ i3-4010U Processor (3M Cache, 1,70 GHz)) which is 7 years old now and get some micro stutter for 1080p videos.

I use the NUC on an Sony 4k TV and with LE 9.2 all is working as it should without any stutter with the same videos. Also a raspberry 4 with LE 10 has no issues with the same video and TV.

When I play 1080p videos with LE 10 on the NUC the systemload is very low by the way and 720p videos play without such micro stutter.

Is my NUC to old and not supported anymore for LE 10?

    Hi!

I have a funny problem with my Kodi box.

I'm using a Intel NUC connected via HDMI to the TV by using CEC. Auto Power ON in case of an CEC signal is activated on both ends (Kodi/TV).

So far that is working as expected but since 2 or 3 days the Intel NUC / Kodi has some kind of auto power on activated and Kodi (and via CEC the TV as well) powers on 3 or 4 time during forenoon. Maybe more often but we noticed it so far only forenoon.

At the moment i have no clue where i should find the root cause because that system is working since 3 years now and i didnt changed anything the last days.

Any Ideas why the box powers on automatically and where i can deactivate that?

    thanks

    Michael

    Here are the screenshots.
    Since i reset the

    Code
    guisettings.xml

i dont need the passthrough active for video sound but it has no effect to the menu sound.
And as i wrote as soon as i use headphone connected to the intel nuc and set the audio output device to PCH bot Video and Menu sound is working.
Here is the sound related part of the

    Code
    guisettings.xml

    - <audiooutput> <ac3passthrough>false</ac3passthrough> <ac3transcode default="true">false</ac3transcode> <audiodevice default="true">ALSA:hdmi:CARD=HDMI,DEV=0</audiodevice> <channels default="true">1</channels> <config default="true">2</config> <dspaddonsenabled default="true">false</dspaddonsenabled> <dtshdpassthrough default="true">false</dtshdpassthrough> <dtspassthrough default="true">false</dtspassthrough> <eac3passthrough default="true">false</eac3passthrough> <guisoundmode default="true">1</guisoundmode> <maintainoriginalvolume default="true">true</maintainoriginalvolume> <passthrough default="true">false</passthrough> <passthroughdevice default="true">ALSA:hdmi:CARD=HDMI,DEV=0</passthroughdevice> <processquality default="true">30</processquality> <samplerate default="true">48000</samplerate> <stereoupmix default="true">false</stereoupmix> <streamsilence>5</streamsilence> <supportdtshdcpudecoding default="true">false</supportdtshdcpudecoding> <truehdpassthrough default="true">false</truehdpassthrough> </audiooutput>

    [hr]
    Found something.
As soon as i set the "Output configuration" within "Audio output" from optimized to fixed it works.
When i then change the limit sampling rate to 44.1 the menu sound disappear again, but the other setting (48, 88.1, 96 and 192) are working.
Any Idea what cause that behavior? Or is it just normal? And why it just affects the HDMI audio transfer and not the PCH?

    thx
    Michael

Unfortunately it didnt help, i renamed the file as suggested, video sound is working but menu sound not via HDMI.
But during testing i noticed that if i switch form HDMI to Headphone jack both (video and menu sound) is working.
So its related to audio via HDMI.

    Any ideas?

    thx

    Hello!

I've updated yesterday from latest stable OpenELEC to LibreELEC 7.02 on an Intel Nuc.
The upgrade was really easy by following the WIKI documentation and i had no big issues.
The only thing i had to adjust after the upgrade was the audio setting by activating the passthrough option of KODI to get Audio working on my Samsung TV connected via HDMI.
With that option activated audio was working for movies.
The only thing what is still not working is GUI Sound. I tried already to change to another GUI Sound or disabling/enabeling it but i still do not get any sound from the GUI itself.
I use the AON Skin but the problem persists if i change the skin.

    thx
