I've been pretty busy since my previous post. I went into Settings, System, Display and turned down the display resolution. This did make the cursor in Chrome more visible. Unfortunately, it also made the cursor outside of Chrome much larger. Until this can be adjusted in Chrome itself, I guess I'll keep the display at this lower resolution. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hello Again Reddirt,
Like you , my eyes aren't what they were 50 years ago. I have no problem with the cursor size in LibreElec, with the exception being the Chrome browser. When using Chrome, I feel like I need a set of binoculars to find the cursor. Did altering the Pointer.xml file affect the cursor size in Chrome or was that done with the Chrome extension? My second question is which Chrome extension did you use to change the cursor size? I tried one from the Chrome Web Store but it seemed to only offer some cartoon cursors that I would not want on the screen. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Correction
For me it was hw:1,3 not hw:1,0.
I guess posts can't be edited once submitted.

A correction is necessary here:
The correct setting for my system is "hw:0,3" not "HW:0,3"
Using caps for the hw causes the setting to be ignored with no displayed error. It's unclear to me if "plughw" would work as well but since I have it working I'll not mess with it.
Thanks for posting this. I spent a lot of time reinstalling Chrome and fiddling with the Audio settings before finding this solution. For me it was hw:1,0 since that is the nvidia video card with HDMI output. The onboard audio card is 0. Putting plughw:1,3 no longer works (well not for me).
