Librelec is set on automatic update. I don't know why it's still LE12...

So, how to update manually ?

Librelec is on an SD card, and my films are on an NVMe drive.

When I’m watching a film, it sometimes freezes (the picture freezes and the sound stops). After a few seconds, it returns to the films menu on its own. But I can’t play any films then, because Kodi tells me that every film cannot be found.

When I connect to my Raspberry Pi 5 via Samba, I’ve noticed that I can no longer access the NVMe drive when this happens.

I’ve concluded that Librelec loses access to the NVMe drive. The only way I’ve found to restore the connection is to restart Librelec.

Do you know what might be causing this loss of connection and how to prevent it from happening again?

Hi everyone,

I'm on Librelec 12.0.2 (kodi 21.2.0), and Sometimes Librelec loses the Wi-Fi password at startup. This does not happen every time, but about 50% of the time.
I have to re-enter the password manually, or reboot Librelec. But sometimes I need 3 or 4 reboot before Librelec starts correctly without "loosing" the Wi-Fi password.
Does anyone knows the reason why ?

My Librelec 12.0.2 (kodi 21.2.0) does not upgrade to Librelec 12.2.0 (kodi 21.3).
However "Auto updates" are enabled. (But eeprom bootloader update is disabled).

Someone could tell me how to upgrade Librelec ?

On Raspberry 5, I have LibreElec installed.
I use the AMBER style with Kodi.
I set French as region, Azrty as virtuel keyboard, and FR as keyboard on LibreElec settings. But that doesn't work. When I have to type anything, the physical keyboard behave as a QWERTY keyboard.

Could someone help me ?

It seems I'd better keep my installation as it is (LE on SD, storage on SSD). Just in case I have to reinstall the OS (and disk partitioning has sometimes caused me funny problems...)

NB : Yes, I regard LE as "something to share files". I just need a server on wich are all my videos, so that other PC in the house can watch them from any room, in the same time. I loose all datas, there is no problem since I have a backup on another disk.

I have recently bought my first Raspberry (Pi5), because I need a home-made kind-of-NAS. So LibreElec seem to be the best choice.

I just know a few things aout Raspberry and LibreElec. I installed LibrElec on the SD card, and it works perfectly well.
What if I install LibreElec on the SSD Nvme ? Is it worth it? Will LibreElec gain in speed significantly? (currently all my media files are stored on this Nvme SSD).

Or do you think it's useless, and that I'd better keep LibreElec on the SD card ?
