I'll third the request for the updated nightly build !

Hi CvH,
Your build is working great, all my tuners are fine for watching TV thanks.
I have found a small bug though, the stream information is not being passed through to kodi anymore (I'm sure it did on your previous test build 0.3). Probs something to keep in mind if your build is to be merged with the master.
Cheers,
Neil

I got some feedback that at least the TBS stuff is now working -> pls have a look here (Nvidia is also fixed)current stuff to test:
Generic 7.90.009 - without extra drivers
Generic 7.90.009 - with working TBS drivers (TBS-OSS)
Generic 7.90.009 - with working TBS drivers + T230C (TBS-CC)if something isn't working pls post dmesg | paste url
I accidentally uploaded the wrong files (RPi instead of Generic) pls check that you have dl the right one.
Hi CvH,
Many thanks for your efforts, you deserve a medal (or some beer tokens lol). I'm impressed with this build for the most part, so good job :D. For the two variants with TBS drivers :
DVBSky T982 ---> Works
Sundtek Media TV Pro --> Works (own drivers)
Astrometa Stick --> Works
TBS 9522SE ---> Not workingNvidia GeForce 210 ---> Works
Pulse 8 CEC adapter ---> Works (TV / AVR)Artic Zephyr Skin ---> Works for the most part
dmesg for the TBS Issue (CC build) : gHHL
Thanks again for all your help

Not really, I got today LE 7.90.009 + Kernel 4.9.0 + TBS drivers + Geniatech T230C driver at least compiling (should work - i guess) <- high potential to get included into official 7.90.010+, Nvidia has still nothing released to support 4.9
currently trying if I get SAA716x also working. After that I have to do a clean build over night that I have something to test tomorrow.Haha leave it to the professionals ?
Good news, sounds like you're getting closer to a out of the box solution. Is your new build compiling with the Nvidia drivers or have you had to remove again ?
-
upps i forgot to say that i had to remove the NVIDIA drivers because they don't build for the RC of Kernel 4.9 (if 4.9 is official is released there are new nvidia drivers that work)Ahhhh suck. I had the choice of nVidia and ATi as well :P. Any idea of ETA for the stable release of 4.9 kernel ?
In the meantime, is there anything I can do myself, i.e add the drivers I need ? The Sundtek stick I have installs the drivers via a kodi add-on which then appears in tvheadend. I'm fairly new to linux, but it doesn't take me long to suss things out if there's a guide to follow ?
Thanks for the reply and all your efforts CvH
I can't waitMe either !

Hi CvH,
Thanks for the link... Unfortunately, it doesn't boot but looks like it's due to my graphics card :
failed to start xorg
nvidia GT210

Hi CvH any ideas regarding this ?

T230c doesn't work out of the box with LibreELEC. Is necessary to install LibreELEC DVB Drivers CrazyCat.
Totosse, MyGiga T230c is VERY GOOD stick, probably is the best low price stick for DVB-C and DVB-T. I think your problem with this stick is configuration of your network, not stick itself.
Ahh apologies, I'm using a DVBSKY T982. The same chip was showing in his tvheadend log.

network id is set for 0, network discovery is on. forcescan only makes my scan active for 2-3 secs then it goes back to idle

With mine, I did not have to define any muxes. I looked up the network ID via google search, set character set to AUTO and checked network discovery. Force scan then found around 49 muxes. The frequency bands of each mux range from 115MHz to 731MHz so would take a while to pick up manually.
Pre-defined muxes for switzerland inter-GGA can be selected on the network config if that helps ?

i left no auto options in settings and it still doesnt scanDid you enter your network ID in DVB inputs > Networks ? Network discovery set to on ? Then Force Scan. It should pick up the muxes automatically, so no need to enter muxes manually.
IIRC, it took a good while for the muxes to show up in tvheadend after initiating the scan and possibly took overnight.

Hi CvH,
You helped me with my initial set up with a TBS tuner and it's been working great thanks
Only now I've purchased a DVBSKY T982 DVB-T tuner card, which works with LibreELEC out of the box, however when I install the TBS drivers via none of the driver options seem to enable both tuners.
Is it possible for me to have these work together ?
TBS 5922SE - DVB-S2
DVBSky T982 - DVB-TThanks
Neil
-
the TBS-OSS should (also ljalves-cc) work, they have tbs driver + latest kernel driversBingo! Thanks CvH
All tuners working perfectly.. I could have sworn I'd tested driver option (apologies)
Cheers,
Neil

Hi CvH,
Thanks for the great build without which I'd have no TV !
I have a question.. I have the following tuners :
TBS 5922SE DVB-S
Astrometa Generic DVB-C/T/T2
Sundtek MediaTV ProThe Sundtek is fine ins any scenario (installs own drivers via kodi addon)
The Astrometa works in the standard build and the 'other drivers' build
The TBS works with the TBS driver build, but the astrometa does not showAre there any driver builds that support both the TBS and the Astrometa together ? If not is there any way I can install the astrometa driver separately ?
Cheers,
Neil
