Apparently we are missing squash: initialise error term to zero · popcornmix/xbmc@7367c17 · GitHub so this will be resolved in the next (probably final) release.
Thats great to hear! Its the only significant problem I'm having as it occurs semi-frequently and requires a full restart to resolve.
Not seeing any log files. Try a paste site like xbmclogs.com or sprunge.us
Yeah, I spent way too long trying to get the file uploaded because I guess the forum upload doesn't work (only a 3 mb file not sure why it isn't uploading).
I might try again the next time the problem comes up but I can't be bothered with going through it all again right now.

When I try to play any video file, only get audio and black screen.
Reboot resolves issue.

I have the same bug, I will enable logging/debug as mentioned above and grab some logs.
Can browse within Kodi, but selecting something to play results in black screen with audio.
