As simple as adding "6". A big thank you chewitt! All working on the NVME card now.
Why didn't I find that before?

Thank you HiassofT, my apologies for taking so long to respond, I was away and then busy with work.
You are correct that I have both an NVME drive and SD Card, it wouldn't boot without the SD Card.
After reading your post I made a backup, removed the NVME drive, reimaged the SD Card and restored that backup and everything is working properly now. I think my NVME drive must be incompatible, but I'll create another post for that.
Thank you again.
Thank you for looking into this:

Sorry I hadn't reconnected sdb for the logs. Should I run them again with it connected?
Something else has happed since the upgrade that might be related. After the 60 second countdown it seems to be fine.

OK I got a chance to do a little testing. I've attached both the original NTFS Toshiba USB disk and the SSD formatted as exFAT that I've been using since the original bug described in link in the post above. Neither show in the GUI but are definitely there as they show in parted. If I unplug the SSD a message shows saying "Successfully removed storage exFAT"

Can someone please confirm that the fix for the bug reported here [RPi5] LE 12.0.0 and NTFS HDD Problem was actually in 12.01?
Cheers

Hi,
Just checking if this fix was in 12.01 before I start gathering logs etc. It's still not working for me and now the exFAT drive I was using in the meantime doesn't show after upgrading. I get a message when it is removed though. This is the same as I was getting with the NTFS drive.
Cheers
Thank you Hias, Netflix is happy again!
Just for anyone else that has to RTFM open the Inputstream Helper addon and select Settings, under Expert choose (Re)install Widevine CDM library...
Cheers

Stupid noob question but how do I reinstall Widevine after upgrading from 11.06
Hi dvbextreme,
I can't access your log files, just get a message about file was deleted after inactivity timeout. You might get a response if you can post logs that are accessible.

popcornmix Thank you!
It looks like you were right on the money. The home router is set with Quad9 as its primary DNS and hands that out to the clients. I changed it to manual on LE and set DNS to 8.8.8.8 and haven't had a drop since.
It must have been coincidence that the problems started as soon as I upgraded to 11, either that or it handles DNS differently.
Interestingly Google DNS resolves a different set of IP addresses to what Quad9 does.
Thank you all for your excellent work.
David
Hi Chewitt,
Thank you for the reply, I'll try that tomorrow. It's a soft crash that drops back to the EPG.
Hi,
Ever since upgrading to LE 11.0 (and subsequently LE 11.0.1) from LE 10.0.4, live TV is randomly freezing and after 10-20 seconds crashes out. I'm using this setup here Simple Freeview NZ & AU IPTV Kodi Setup (with full guide & radio) (matthuisman.nz) and have been for several years without this issue previously.
I thought it could be an issue with upgrading so I've built a new clean install on an SSD attached to the same RPi4 that I've used from LE9 and up. I've installed nothing else but the Simple IPTV client and I still get this happening randomly, it can be anything from 5 minutes to 2 hours and happens several times a night.

Let me know what other information would be useful. BTW I've changed TV, sound system, HDMI cable with no difference, the internet connection is ethernet with 900/450 Mbps fibre. I've been monitoring buffering via Ctrl+Shift+O and rarely see it dip below 97%.
Thank you for all your hard work, it's much appreciated. This issue has me a little stumped.
Cheers
David
