Any working method to use the latest LE 11.0.3 on old Minix Neo U1 (Android 5 on eMMC) and boot from sd card ? I try many sdcards and not successfully. Always starting the Android version. I edit the uEnV.ini and set the correct dtb in line.
LE 11x version is better for HEVC playpack, then 9.2x legacy ? I need for some messed encoded anime video.
Either way am trying, but not success boot from sdcard... what is the solution for it?

Absolutely. You need to use Generic_S905 image and gxbb_p200_2G_minix_neo_u1.dtb.
And, if you use it with the factory remote control, you should save remote.conf from your old system.
I use the air mouse, the remote.conf contain this ?

I have a relative old version of LibreElec 8.0.1j with Kodi 17.2 RC1 on Minix Neo U1. Working well for many years, but nowadays some Hevc coded videos freeze or unplayable. Time to update the better stable version.
Can I run from sd-card the Legacy version of this?
You tried the Generic-Legacy version of this? your Amlogic version is the good old S905.
