can i config more then one remote in rc_maps.cfg
i have got my a95x remote get to work but i would like to use my mce remote toomy config looks like this:
meson-ir * a95x.txt
meson-ir * rc6_mce
but with it no remote works
combine the 2 files of IR codes into a single file and load that as normal
I am not trolling, as I remember, alf1 started the pre alpha builds, then adamg continued, as I said, the numbers confused me.
It doesn't really matter, try them, but they are both pre alpha, so expect problems.

Gendo stopped after I made my first release
I asked afl1 if he would like to combine our repositories and releases so there was less confusion for users and so it was less maintainence for the both of us as sometimes he will fix the latest code and then at other times I will, we both benefit from the collaboration and so do users.
Now kszaq is also concentrating on 9.x so there is even greater collaboration now as everyone is upstreaming their contributions to a single location.
Version numbers are developer specific and not related in anyway to any official version.

If your TV appears green after flashing the image then set your colour space with the new options and reboot until you find one that works.

Well future posts will be unlikely to get a response as my patience for it has bottomed out, I have so many ideas I would love to implement and not enough time, I need better hardware to speed things up and more hours in the day.

As I said I do not use any IR remote so cannot be of much help at the moment.
Wizzi07 always do a LE settings .tar backup first of your existing setup and save externally to a PC. Update by dropping .img.gz into the normal Update folder.
I would not link to those wrxtasy as the partition layout is different with the LE9 kernel, if anybody uses installtointernal with them it will cause issues, there is no publically available LE9 image with the LE9 kernel.
The 8.2 ones by kszaq should be used, flashing any future LE9 builds will then automatically update the DTB as this is done in update.sh
It might be a good idea to add a bold note about the IR Remote changes to the OP.
It makes no difference if I put it in bold or even in font size 36, there are still people who will still disregard it or not bother to read whatever I put.
When I made the .4 release both myself and afl1 had tested the changes for a couple of weeks before hand and I knew it would cause issues for some people and there would be a lot of moaning but had everyone been using a 8.2 dtb rather than ancient ones then the dtb would automatically update, this is why we have le-dt-id inside of them which you know about.
What this forum needs is a proper FAQ thread or Wiki page but I don't have the time to maintain something like that, it takes up enough of my time just replying and making builds, it takes 2+ hours for each rebuild of each device and even testing minor changes is still a good 15-30mins for each change, bearing in mind I also have a full time 40hrs/week job and a personal life and when people can't bother to spend just a few minutes to find the answer it is infuriating given the amount of time I pour into things.
I can see why most of the developers are burnt out and why attitudes of some developers suck.
On a side note The Coolest HeresJohnny the latest devel release allows you to change the chroma/colour space without having to mess about with commands in autostart.sh
I would rather add the options to Kodi than direct people to SSH on to their devices and hard code things into scripts, little things like that are relatively easy to add.

Just what i was looking for that patch.
What I have noticed, watching Olympics Ice Hockey that has lots of left right camera movement, is if you use a Performance CPU Govnr you will get mini video playback pauses with this new Kernel and the old Kernel on the S912.
I am going to make a patch to select CPU governor in video settings for my next release

No need for a remote config for kiii pro, it's built into the 8.90.4 thanks to afl1 just update your DTB that is why it is not working.

I use a Plug N Play - MINIX A2 lite Wireless remote to bypass all this nonsense.
the A2 remote also uses IR to control power, LE9 is using ir-keytable you just have to update your DTB
GDPR-2 I apologize if this has been posted, I looked for it on the thread but I failed to find it, but would it be to much to ask for the source of your update.php file?
It's a bit of a mess and was just put together quickly, it just reads the directory and strips the version from the files and compares it to the version that LE sends and then outputs the answer in json format if the version on the server is newer than whatever the user is running. It serves it's function basically, chewitt has a much better version available afaik.
hello i tried keymap editor to assign a key on my philips tv cec remote but i cant .is there a way to know witch keys are send via cec to kodi? i need to assign only one key,so i can change proprietis on a video...seen ,not see, rescan..etc ,and i can oly use tv remote .

I Don't agree with that, I have several S905X & a S905D box, and calibrated my TV using a Spyder5, and the HD/UHD/HDR is superb;)

Beat me to it kszaq, I'm not happy with the current LE kernel there is still some issues with frames dropping hence I'm still using the older kernel, wrxtasy you may want to look at backporting this patch for your builds, it removes the need to do the above commands and reduces the complexity of changing the colour space for users.
