Hi smp,
Would you mind updating this build if possible? I'm getting some dropouts on HD Audio in the current build and was hoping it might be fixed in later builds. Really appreciate it!
Thanks!
smp Any chance for this?
Thanks!

Tagging along as I have the exact same issue as Kraprot.
Buyer beware - I have two Odroid N2+ units that have failed within a couple months of each other and HardKernel has basically told me that they won't do anything. I would have to pay shipping both ways (nearly the cost of a new unit) to MAYBE get a replacement. I've never experienced such bad service.
Out of the blue, the USB ports failed on both devices, which were running Libreelec Kodi Matrix. USB Power was turned off within Kodi. One failed after just about a year, and the other after a year and a few months. I can't find too many threads on this topic, so I'm posting this in case anyone is considering one of these units.
Please, this thread is about getedid failing!
I think my issue is related, because getedid does fail on my machine as well, which is how I got here.

This is the model - I have

And I am connected to the HDMI port.

Thanks heitbaum - are you getting HDR and HD Audio passthrough output succcessfully? Is that going through a receiver?
I have the i5 version of that, and I can't get any output to my receiver (Denon 3700h) from HDMI. When I do use the miniDP to HDMI and @smp's development build, I can get 4K/HDR, but HD Audio has no output, and after trying to play a file with HD Audio, the system must be rebooted to get any sound whatsoever.
Display Moreslighty OT, but out of interest:
it seems Intel uses a sorta LS and PCon in some NUC11 too:
scroll to the picture "Block diagram"
https://www.heise.de/preisvergleich…2-a2461096.html
=> PCON
and
https://www.heise.de/preisvergleich…hloc=at&hloc=de
=> PCON and LS/Retimer
were I translate:
PCon := protocol converter
LS:= level shifter
LSPCon:= Level Shifter/Protocol Converter
I wonder what heitbaum (owner of an NUC11; (11 right ?)) see if he connects his display via HDMI and "tail /sys/class/drm/*/status"
I also have the NUC11PAHI5, and the HDMI connection doesn't get any signal on the display. It shows a connection through DP, but no output. The only way I got a decent connection was through a miniDP to HDMI converter, and then still had issues with HD audio, which apparently is an Intel issue (which they're working on per the link below).
You may want to look into an HDMI firmware update if you haven't already: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us…n-nuc7i7bn.html
I ran across that a lot (unfortunately I have a NUC11, which Intel hasn't fixed yet) when people had similar issues. It's pretty amazing to me the number of issues with the NUC and Kodi.
The link should work now.
Thanks so much!

This is from Oct. 20 master branch (Kodi 20) with the Atmos patch included.
Hi smp,
I think this link may be broken - do you have a link to your latest build?
Thanks!
