Today I got the response from AVM (FritzBox).

It's a bit strange, since I measure UDP packet loss directly through the FritzBox, with absolutely no other device connected to the fritzbox (even DSL disconnected). Just from an IPerf3 Client(Win10 Laptop) to an IPerf3 Server (RasPi with Raspbian) both connected to different ports on the FritzBox.

With the same devices I measure 0 loss, as soon as the Frithbox is not involved in the routing (bypassed) - no matter how many other switches/devices attached.

    Thank you for your patience.

I now have the result of the test. We have carefully investigated the possible causes of the problem you are describing. However, we have not yet been able to find any possible causes for the problem described on the FRITZ! Box side. We were unable to find specific configuration errors in your support data, nor are we aware of general product problems and weaknesses that could be assigned to the error pattern you have described.

Since we are not aware of the problem from support requests from other customers, we are unfortunately unable to give you any tips on possible external causes of errors. However, we have passed your information on to development for review. The colleagues will take this into account when further developing the FRITZ! Box firmware. If possible, we will be able to offer you a solution in this form in the future.

Thank you again for your commitment.

    Hi,

since I finally got my RasPi 4b with LibreElec 9.2.7 and TVH 4.2 running I now want to finetune some things.

First of all I am not happy with the current EPG. At movies I would like to see director and actors.

I use Astra 19.2° for only german channels. So what I need is a good german EPG for those channels.

From my research I found a lot of threads, where ppl are using "tv_grab_file".

But somehow I can't find that addon in the LibreElec repositories. Where can I find that one?

Also I am looking for a description of the standard OTA EPGs within TVH.

Most of them I was able to cancel out by the names (e.g. "Italy", "New Zealand" etc..) or with google ("PSIP: ATSC" is north american).

    But what about "Ausat"?

And "EIT: DVB" is german, right?

What does "External: XMLTV" do exactly? Is it using the EPG enty, that I have within the "TVH 4.2 adddon setup" in Kodi?

There (in Kodi -> Addons -> TVH4.2 -> Configuration) I entered a web link (easyepg-basic.gz), but that didn't seem to change anything for my EPG info in Kodi.

My second problem is that Live TV with Kodi+TVH addon is not working as soon as I stream from another device (not using the TVH server).

I only bounded 5 of my 8 receivers to TVH. The other 3 I want to have in reserve, e.g. for using DVBViewer on my Dektop PC.

But as soon as I watch TV from anything else but the TVH server I can't get live TV with TVH addon working anymore.

The screen just stays black and the stream is not starting.

Its the same for both VLC player using m3u or VBV viewer using the SAT>IP device within "Hardware".

(Sadly DVBViewer is not supporting TVH server as an input....)

As soon as I am watching with either of them, then my TVH addons refuse to display streams.

Any idea where that problem can come from?

    noggin

OMG I fixed it ! 2 weeks of nightmares are over.

You won't believe what the root cause was: the Fritzbox 7590 !

The answer from Kathrein brought the solution.

They said it's either a defect EXIP or it's within the network.

So today I setup a switch right next to the EXIP and tested TVH (and VLC) from there.

And I didn't get the problems.

So I setup another SD-card for RasPi with an IPerf3 server to test step by step (=wire for wire) where the packet loss came from. Because in the cellar itself I got 0% packet loss EVEN at 800MBit speeds (with 8 parallel streams each being 100 MBit).

And voila I got 0% packet loss just until the Fritzbox (which I was using all 5 ports on, as a star point for my whole network).

As soon as I switched over to a free port on the Fritzbox I measures loss, only the same wire connected to the cellar, that I measured 0 loss just "before" the fritzbox.

So I tested from the other directions aswell (office e.g. with 2 switch after the Fritzbox). And what shall I say? 0% loss just until the Fritzbox.

So what I did is to just buypass the whole Fritzbox with another 8-port switch, just ataching the box to that switch for Internet and the USB-disk @Fritzbox.

And not only do I get 0 paket loss in all rooms, also my SAT>IP finally works without ANY issues.

No, I don't see transport errors. But I see uncorrected blocks:

Today I reinvestigated on my network performance.

I re-tested UDP packet loss, but to me everything seems to be ok.

On low loads (100MBit) I see close to 0% loss (very occasional 0,01% loss).

On a high load (800MBit+) I see around 0,3%-0,4% loss, depending on the room.

But that should be pretty normal I guess, having 4 switches inbetween and using small buffer sizes for that high load with the auto setting (buffer size 41kb and packet size 1500b).

I ordered another switch though, to test wheter something changes if I move the RasPi (TVH) in the cellar next to the EXIP.

(And using the Firestick as my player.)

    Hello noggin

sorry for responding late. I was busy the last two days and could not go on troubleshooting.

First of all I found out, that MC obviously is showing some "random" numbers.

The "easy" way I was looking for to browse my SD-card was the command "df -h".

    Luckily everything is fine :)

I was using "Advanced" settings in TVH, therefore I switched to expert.

    My adapters look like this:

Its the same like you, but with checks at "addpids/delpids supported" and "FE supported".

But I didn't do them manually for sure.

Also the later settings (e.g. "send rolloff settings") is not availlable in my Version of TVH (its 4.2).

That one looks different than yours. I have "advanced settings" there aswell.

Last one looks different than yours aswell.

Anything I shall change? (E.g. the ones you have turned off "addpids/delpids supported" and "FE supported".)

Today I sent an email to Kathrein Support. Maybe they have an idea what I shall look for.

Because today I noticed that VLC player created the same artefacts on my Win10 Laptop. Probably even worse.

I use it from UPnP auto detect with an m3u List from satip.info.

Something I reported to be fine eralier in this thread btw.

So not working: 1.) VLC over direct UPnP from EXIP 2.) TVHeadend server

and working: 1.) DVBViewer media server 2.) SIPTV (both adddon for Kodi and App)

    Hello noggin

maybe you can open a thread in THV forums, which is saying, that I can't register (not getting a mail, although it is confired to be sent)?

I have done all kind of research and along that of course I also googled things like "TVHeadend EXIP 418" to find setup guidance.

(And all kinds of "TVHeadend SATIP artifacts".)

I'm really at the point, where I have not even an idea what do to in locating where the problem is.

Today I tried to activate all logging in TVH (both system add on and HTS client).

When I was serching for the log file I noticed that MC showed 98% usage. And since I am kind of unable to browse/screen from SSH terminal I tried to link the SD-Card to my card reader. Sadly I can't see anything but the "boot" on the SD-card from windows.

After putting it back to the raspi it now shows 96%:

Does that actually mean free or occupied? Since 98%/96% occupied woul be a nightmare I guess?

How can I browse/screen/search my drive in convenient ways, to find out in which folders large data was written (and when)?

The log file itself is completely useless to me on SSH terminal. The file is tremendously large (e.g. it includes ALL EPG infotext !!) and I don't get a proper Scroll bar and especially have no search routine availlable. After using "page down" key for like 5 minutes I still was at 1% in MC displaying it.

Is the only way to manually copy it over to my win PC for proper analysis?

At least that's what I did, but the LOG file is 125MB for 40 seconds.

It didn't even get to errors.

    It ends with:

The second thing I did today was researching on a new sat antenna. To be honest this is the ONLY part in my HW setup that I can think of being "poor".

The one I'm having is 80cm but no-name and old. My LNB is rather new. I replaced it in 2018.

But a propoer antenna from Kathrein (CAS 120) is 600€ plus another 200€ for a mounting that is needed for it.

So buying just to find out it was not the issue would really hurt. (But I would still do it, if I continue to fail on finding ways to futher troubleshoot my problems.)

With the "30+" lines I meant the Muxes (and its even 107):

Sadly I don't have deep knowledge "how to set-up TV Headend and how to set-up your SAT>IP receiver within it" - no. :(

I used the auto setup wizard to do so.

But that wizard removed the positions 2-4, as you mention:

Only using 5 is intended from my side. To always have 3 spare ones to use for other needs (VLC, SIPTV app on the TV e.g.).

I think first of all I need to provide a log where TVH is displaying the cont. errors.

The best would be to have one directy related to a recording (like I provided from DVBViewer which has a dedicated check box for "write log with recordings" in the recordings-setup page).

Because there I can directly check at the timesstamps on which I see the artifacts in the mpg to have a relation.

But I can't find such a setting in THV:

Is there a chance to do this with post processing commands?

Today I also went back on reviewing my FireStick .

As I said it runs fine on the old TV but has the same fragments on the new TV (which is still killing my brain as it makes not much sense to me).

After 5-10 minutes watching carefully I was about to cancel and turn off (--> once again proofing there no issue).

But exactly in that moment I got artefacts. I continued watching and withing the next 10 minutes I saw artifacts for another 2 times.

They look a little different there (more greyish and more monolored vs. more colored), but I think its the same (a "micro stutter" and distrubuted squared artifacts).

The huge difference still is the frequence. I have seen three in 15-20 minutes on the old TV and I see about three EVERY minute on my new TV.

    noggin

Hello Noogin I'm very happy that you try to help me. And I really would love to get things running.

I am willing to do all kind of troubleshooting.

First of all I am using a Quad LNB (KATHREIN KEL 444 Euroline Universal Quad LNB).

My Antena is rather old, cheap and small.

My Sat>IP is Kathrein 418 which, from my research, got pretty reasonable test results altogether, although not being a cheap device.

But I am using this setup (antenna + LNB) since years and never had issues ever since (using both my HTPC with 2x Hauppauge Nova S2 cards and a Comag SL40HD receiver.)

[The SAT>IP is brand new (2 weeks?).]

For THV forums I have the issue to not receive an confirmation link e-mail. I tried like 5 times the last couple of days.

Therefore I am unable to open threads there sadly.

Poor signal quality would indeed be an issue to troubleshoot, since I can't really test it (withoput buying a new antena // LNB).

I was kind of hoping for a logging possibility in THV to hopefullly get hints.

    Regarding settings:

no I didn't do anything in the THV tuner settings yet. To me its 100% confusing. There are like 30 different entries//lines in THV - although i only have 8 tuners.

I would have no clue at all, what to do - even for "trial and error" :(

Regarding "continuity errors would be caused by dropped network packets": I would kind of cancel this out. Since not only does DVBViewer run fine, but also Simple IPTV (using a m3u) runs on both the LG TV itself (LG OS6 -SIPTV app) and also on Kodi (SIPTV Client Addon). Without any flaws.

Wouldn't those two programs face the same issues with a root cause in my network?

The "platform" I am running THV on is a RasPi 4b 8GB.

And I tried both LibreElec 9.2.7 and Raspbian lite (using the latest 32bit version from "Raspberry Pi Imager"). Both with exactly the same poor results.

    noggin

The "core cause" must have a root cause though.

And although my workaround is doing it's job fine (in not using TVH at all, but instead usind DVBViewer Media Server on a Win10 Laptop),

of course I would still love to get rid of that Laptop with its 1-2W in S3 and 10W while running the server.

--> Even if it's just another/different workaround like running some extra conversion/filtering tool on the RasPi before or after the TVH-sofware to compensate for the cont. errors (like the other apps do).

Sadly I am quite blank on how things all work together (especially in regards of the "cont. errors").

(What's the output of the antenna/LNB, what is Kathein doing with it, how is the network/Fritzbox involved, what is TVH doing exactly, how is the TVH output "received", what does the "player" do with it?)

Therefore I have no clue how to continue eliminating possible root causes.

My stomach is still telling me, that the problem is either within or after the TVH server.

Otherwise I still don't have any explaination why I dont' get artifacts on my old TV using my FireTV Stick, but I do get the artifacts using the SAME setup and FireTV stick on my new TV (--> just pluging the stick from one to the other TV).

    Update:

Thios is the log file, that i got from DVBViewer Media Server:

    Device: KATHREIN SatIP EXIP418 DVB-S 2

Timer Name: Der Soldat James Ryan

    Timer Start: 14.07.2021 23:39:00

Timer Options: Teletext=0, DVB Subtitles=0, All Audio Tracks=1, Adjust PAT/PMT=1, EIT EPG Data=0, Transponder Dump=0

    Timer Source: API

    Average Data Rate: 0,532 MB/s

Total Size: 5878,2 MB (6163781724 Bytes)

As you can see it reports ZERO errors for a 184min record. (It would reports all streaming errors from the EXIP etc. in that LOG.)

The recordings from THVeadend on the other hand showed the same artefacts as live TV - so on THVeadend also for recording there is my issue.

Is that maybe a helpful information for further root cause analysis on my siode?

Please advise me things I could test to find out where the problem is with my setup and TVH.

Can I write such a Logfile from THV aswell to check what error its reporting?

    noggin

Yes that's exactly why I am hoping on an evolution for THV.

This "canceling/correcting (of) errors" seems to be not a major issue, if that many (all) other Apps and Tools are capable of.

Can I maybe switch the "MPEG 2 Transport Stream processors and h.264 video decoders" for TVH manually?

DVBViewer seems to use "LAV Filter", which is an extra installation coming with DVBViewer.

How can I configure those settings (transport stream, decoder, etc.) for TVH? (To tinker around with and trying e.g.).

    Hi noggin

I tried Buster with TVHeadend and Kodi.

But the result is the same. I get the same rare artifacts like 1-2 per minute.

Somehow TVHeadend seems to not work with my new TV. I still can't understand why it runs fine on my old TV. It just doesn't make sense.

It's as if the server itself is working, but the displaying on my new TV creates the Artefacts (both from the RasPi and FireTV stick).

Tinkering with video ram didn't help. Going to 1024 even made the Raspian not boot anymore.

LibreElec came out of the box with 320MB, and increasing it also didn't help anything.

After doing some research I found out, that its impossible to buy a proper Win10 Mini-PC in Mid2021.

NUC 11 (the NUC11TNHi3 is very intresting with its 15W budget) is not sold at all in europe anymore. Prices are like 2x MRSP.

And I just refuse to buy NUC 10 (Frost Canyon), because its sooooo much worse than NUC 11 (Tiger Canyon), but the prices are still really high.

And all the other Mini-PCs are not really intresting, since they all ship with at least 65W PSUs (and need them).

One of the better ones seems to be the Arus Mars (4500U), but it's 10W idle, 20W media playback and close to 50W under full load.

And I already own a 4800U Laptop, which is not far from that either.

Today I tried to get it running. But I was unable to get the wake on LAN working with it.

It just doesn't wake up when it's in S3.

Update: just figured it out. I had to activate the magic packet passthrough in the USB-LAN settings of the docking station. And also I needed to trigger the MAC-adress of the docking station instead of the laptop.

    But it now works.

Although the DVB-Viewer PVR client brings wake on lan integrated, the "Advanced Wake on LAN" add-on in LibreElec is a lot more convenient.

So far I went back to my old HTPC for now, and DVBViewer is running without any issues.

But tomorrow I will instead setup the raspi with libreelec and remote control my laptop in the office with it.

    But to be honest:

    - SITPV app on ALL my devices RasPi (SIPTV Kodi addon), Firestick (SIPTV App) and LG TV (SIPTV app) - using direct m3u from my EXIP 418 Sat>IP

    - Home IPTV app (LG TV) - also m3u direct play from the SAT>IP

    - DVBViewer (Media Server) on all devices (even on my 2014 AMD APU)

    - VLC player using UPnP auto detection of the EXIP418

    - Sat>IP Viever (Android app) on my smartphone

    all run fine.

So I can hardly see the "problems" on my side.

Hopefully TVH is evolving one day and will be able to fix my "problems".

Because it would definately be the best solution of all for me !

Linux always is case-sensitive in file/folder names, Windows is more like "yeah, whatever".

Yes, that's kind of my problem.

The Raspi 4B, that I own for one week now, is my first and only linux device.

Sadly basically nothing runs out of the box. I still didn't even get TVHeadend set up in a way, that it's not causing artifacts/stutters.

This in combination with not being an expert user on linux is kind of frustrating.

Like if you compare DVBviewer MediaServer with TVH server for example: DVBViewer pretty much autosetups and runs out of the box with no issues to me. And you get full support on basics like auto-converting your TV recordings to .mpg and the likes, which just some autboxes, drop downs and GUI-guided folder linking.

THVeadend on the other hand is a very narrow/simple browser page which only allows manual inputs. Having to invest research on, scripting (.mount files) and attaching them to Linux manually.

Of course you might argue, that THV is free to use and DVBViewer charges for a license, but I would prefer paying 50€ a lot more, than spending hours and hours and still not having a stable SW-product.

In my case I am pretty close to just buying a Zotac Pi335 and using Win10. 4A (Intel NUC) vs. 3A (RasPi) 5V-PSU might not be the big difference in actual power usage.

And I hate myself for it, because the RasPi is such a wonderful thing on paper !!! (And I actually do like tinkering systems like this.)

Lets see what this week brings and wheter I get things to finally run.

Thank you everyone for the feedback and responses.

I spent soooo much time this weekend troubleshooting, but to me it becomes more an more evident, that the TVHeadend server is causing the mess - but only in combination with my new TV?!

A very obvious proof to me is, that DVBViewer (-> just switching DVBViewer addon in Kodi, while running DVBViewer Medias Server on my Desktop) runs without any issues at all. So both my network and my SAT>IP must be basically working fine.

(At least DVBViewer is oviously able to compensate possible flaws.)

I am very close to just buying a Zotac Pi335 NUC and using Windown10 and DVBViever Media Server instead.

The device has a 4A 5V PSU (RasPi is 3A), therefore it shouldn't consume much more power than the RasPi.

BUT the weird thing is: my FireTV Stick on the old TV (47" fulll HD) works all fine with Kodi and TVH. No artifacts at all.

--> Using the same TVH server on the RasPi, much longer Network path and using WLAN inbetween.

Though as soon as I switch the FireTV STick over to my new TV (65" 4k) I suddenly get the same artefacts as with the RasPi connected!

    How can that be?

(Using DVBViewer AddOn works on both RasPi and FireStick without an issue when paired with my new TV. And just to clarify: i am NOT using the 4k resolution. My Kodi is set to 1080p in all the cases: RasPi, FireStick paired with both TVs.)

maybe you enabled some setting that created that problem ? normally you can keep everything at default and it should work okay at least

I guess you overloading the satip device (I have no experience with that particular one), so it is possible that you have corrupted output at a single tuner.

If you had enabled the idle scan this might fix it.

Well, the artefacts were reduced a lot with the reinstall . But sadly that they are gone was a false alarm. They are still present like 1-2/min.

Overloading the Sat-device is not the cause. I tested with all 5 streams running on my PC with VLC player and watched TV over DVBViewer. Still no issues.

But on the other hand if only 1 Tuner is running via TVHeadend I already see those artifacts.

The "5 tuners running" was another false alarm from myself, it always happens after restart of the device for some minutes. But after that "setup" THV drops them again and only occupies used ones from then on.

Where can I turn on the "idle scan"? I couldn't find that option in THV.

    elonesna

Yes, I am using 9.2.7 with THV 4.2. The 9.95.5 version had all kind of issues to me. E.g. MC not running at all. Also many times "restart" didn't work (both from Kodi and from SSH console) and I had to turn power to get the device back alive.

Ma RaspPi is 4B with 8Gb of RAM (I think only 4B exists in an 8GB version, therefore I didn't state it explicitely).

    noggin

No, I am NOT using it standalone. Instead I also use it as the source/media center for my TV.

And yes, I did only try LibreElec so far. I thought this was especially geared towards the "bare minimum" as you say.

    Hmmm.

    Today I de-intalled and re-installed TVHeadend.

With checking for like 3-5 minutes the artifacts now are gone !!!

Also I dont have any cont. error since the reinstall:

Very strange ?!? (I didn't plug in or out anything for the THV reinstall - all doine over the add-on page in Kodi.)

I will report tonight, when I have time to watch TV for a bit longer, wheter the fragments and cont. errors are (hopefully) gone forever.

But another very strange thing is:

after this reinstall I now have all 5 ports open all the time (I binded only 5 of the 8 to THV):

As you can see from the load (and network needs) they are not really doing much (if I use all 5 ports to actually stream sth. , then cpu load is ~15% and network ~15MB/s).

But before the reinstall it always went down to 0 again (or the number currently used) when I turned off streams on the clients.

When I restat the RasPi it goes to 0 (during the shutdown reboot tmes), but shortly after booting the EXIP show "5" used again.

    Any explaination for this?

    CvH

The setting is in the main network settings. But as I said I didn't use Eco.

Update: after 3h runtime with the TV just running:

Still no artifact. Im very happy (--> false alarm)

But I get cont. errors like mad.... (Which I wouldn't care if thing are working)

Where are they coming from CvH ? (You seem to be an expert. In every thread I read about related topics, you at least showed up once giving nice advice. THUMBS UP!!!)

I mean I measure the network from cellar (EXIP 418) to the living room (RasPi) with FPerf.

    And its flawless ~990.000.

But if I understood you right, then those cont errors are not created withing the "SAT to receiver to network" path, but in the network itself (EXIP to FRITZ to RasPi) - right?

Well the problem seems to only apear using my RasPi as the "player".

On my FireStick I have no issues at all. And it also gets the stream from the THVHeadend on that RasPi (even over WiFi).

Sat>IP (@cellar) --> Fritzbox (@office room) --> Raspi (=TVHeadend server) (@living room) --> Fritzbox again --> Fritz WLAN Mesh Repeater (wired connection) (@childrens room next to sleeping room) --> WiFi to FireTV (Kodi with TVHeadend client add-on) (@sleeping room) ==> NO artefacts

    vs.

Sat>IP --> Fritzbox --> RasPi (TVHeadend server) --> SAME RasPi (Kodi with TVHeadend client add-on) ==> artefact issues

So I really wonder how the FritzBox or Sat>IP should be responsible.

But I checked the FritzBox and theres no Eco setting on.

With TVHeadend there a lot of continiuty errors (more than 5000 right now on tuner one).

What does that mean exactly? (And, if this is a problem, why is it not causing any issues using the FireTV stick as the TVH-client?)

    Hi,

    I own a new 65" 4K TV since Saturday.

For that matter I also bought a Sat>IP server (Kathrein EXIP 418), to make use of my old TV in the sleeping room (without Sat-wireing) - just using an FireTV stick.

I the living room next to my TV I was using a Windows10 HTCP (with integrated IR-receiver) with Kodi and DVBViewer(+Media Server).

But since it was using old HW (A10-7870k from 2014) and such a solutions consumes a lot of Power (70-100W), I insteads decided to go for RasPi with LibreElec and a TVHeadend server.

I recently got everything to work and am not looking back ever since. I really like the RasPi with LibreElec!

But sadly, now that I start watching TV with it, I noticed that I rarely get artefacts on HD channels (like "Das Erste HD").

It happens like 2-5 time per minute. Which would kind of be acceptable (--> my wife also said its fine for her), but is of course not as flawless as I wanted it to be (and the DBVViewer Win10 HTPC was).

At the soccer games (half finals of the Euro) this was mostly seen at the ball, when it was moving fast. Then is was surrounded with those fragments. Or when the pictures complete switches to another scene, then sometimes those artefacts are more widely spread.

The network should NOT be the issue. I have a 1GB connection over Fritzbox7950 on all the devices.

I measures the speeds with JPerf and get the same ~990.000 on all the cables in all my house (measuring from the cellar, where the Sat>IP server is located.

Also I don't get those artefacts using SIPTV app on the LG TV itself (direct .m3u-plaback from the Sat>IP server, not using TVHeadend).

Same with my FireTV Stick using Kodi. No artefacts at all using the same TVHeadend-server running on my new RasPi.

So it's most probably related to RasPi and/or LibreElec.

When I turn on logging one thing seems weird to me: the RAM usage is close to its maximum - although I'm using the 8GB version of Raspi 4:

Also on that screenshot you can see a framerate drop to 40.0. The framerate is 99% of the time toggeling between 50 and 48 FPS.

But frequently it drops down to values like 45-46. And on rare ocasions you can see around 40-42.

I think the cap is 50, because i set my refresh rate to 50Hz.

But where are the drops coming from? The CPU util is <40%.

On my Firestick its far higher (70%ish). And the Framerates are even lower - still I don't see those artifacts.

    Please help me!

P.S.: I tinkered with ALL! the settings. Here is my latest setup, which tended to create the lowest frequency on artefacts:

OS: LibreElec 9.2.7 with TVHeadend 4.2

Resolution: 1920x1080P (@50Hz) --> to me the 4k resolution was no better image at all, and I can only use 30Hz for it.

    HQ Scaler: 20%

adapt frequency: at start/stop of playback

    Sync Playback to screen: off

    HW-acceleration: on (MMAL)

    Deinterlace Mode: MMAL - Bob

    Hi Mario77

    thank you for the feedback.

I finally got it to work. My problem was, that I was not aware of the cases-sensitiveness in the path-names.

What I did is, that I created a "storage-TVHeadend-recordings.mount" (--> it HAS to be named after the proper pathname EXACTLY (in my case "~/storage/TVHeadend/recordings") file in the "~/.config/system.d" and implemented it with "systemctl enable storage-TVHeadend-recordings.mount"

I even added some additional options like forcing SMB 3 with "Options=vers=3.0,username=xxx,password=xxx,rw"

As for recording locally and transfering: I will have a hard time figuring out the post processing of TVHeadend. The wiki was not very self explaining. I checked it, because I was planed on converting to .mpg4 after recordings and deleting the .TS. But holy $§%" is that complicated. I quickly gave up.

I wonder why TVHeadend is so narrow/vanilla/basic regardings the configuration. E.g. the pathlink to the recording folder first of all. Why can't it just offer a GUI-based folder navigation to enter the path?

Also post processing coman´ds? Often used usecases (mpg-convert, moving after recording, etc..) should definately be possible with drop downs/checkboxes etc. !!!
