Ran this from an SD card on my MXIII-G II and it's excellent across the board.
WiFi and Ethernet work very well.
No Bluetooth but no big loss.
Lower temps than when running Android too.
Big thumbs up from me

I use Libreelec on a Chuwi Hibox but to date the Ampak AP 6234 is not yet supported.
I saw this thread over at the Chuwi forums where a user asked for information about how to add support to Ubuntu and I wondered if the same technique could be used to add support in Libreelec?
I've been trying to get this to work on a TX5 Pro all morning but the sticking point is that I cannot find a TWRP that will allow boot from the SD card.
Is there one that has been confirmed as working?
Thanks.
You need to get ZIP file with Android firmware from your manufacturer/seller. I can't provide these files as they are different for every box. I will reword that point to make it more clear.
Thanks for the explantion.
Having obtained an image for my TX5 pro though, it is just a single .img file that is used to flash the device, so can't quite understand how this can be extracted in such a manner that the 2 files can be taken from it.
I'm a bit confused.

None of the downloads seem to contain recovery.img and anddtb.img when I extract them.
