Just configure kodi display settings to 1920x1080 and whitelist the 3840x2160 modes, then you won't hit the issue when in kodi GUI.

Yes I'm using RPi4.

I whitelist 3840x2160 modes and have GUI set 1080 but it still happens.

I had to reboot while tv was on to get settings to stick. If changed settings and turned tv off first then rebooted RPi to get signal back the whitelist settings disappeared and refresh rate reverted to 30Hz.

Actually its not shutting down it losing signal to tv for some reason.

I have 4k resolution and if its 60Hz it loses signal when tv is turned off. If I set 30 Hz it doesn't happen.

I went back and checked Libreelec 10 beta 1 and its the same.

Then I tested and 9.2.6 and it doesn't have this issue.

I never noticed this issue before but 720/540p have black borders on the side of screen (1080p and 4K content is still fine). If I change resolution in Kodi to 1080p the borders disappear. I'm using RPi 4 and Libreelec 10 beta 2.

I installed network tools and used iperf and connection seems fine.

Maybe it was writing to sd card that was causing the speed fluctuations copying files.

If I use 9.2.6 it copies files across at fairly constant speed. But with kodi 10 the speed drops to zero and then starts back up again, this keeps repeating.

It does not happen with anything else on same network. If I ping the Rpi 4 there is no packet loss or spikes.
