hi sky42, is your build really has the advantage over coreelec and openelec in terms of video processing because of hw acceleration? Or it's just a spec difference or is it something else ?

Leia is in beta stage. But your build is still based on alpha ?

hi balbes: can you make a 64bit build for Odroid C2 ? I am having adamg's latest coreelec build.
I want to upgrade it to your build and test if the video stuttering problem is solved.
Thanks...
-
Hi balbes: your Version is not compatible with COreelec Version. i cannot simply update your latest development Version on Coreelec latest Version eventhough both are of 64bit Version.

Hi, Chewitt
Can I compile an addon myself?
I tried to compile. But there are errors.
LE for Odroid C2 is getting better and better. Thank you for your work.
You think so.. then its your Illusion i think. In reality it is not at all getting better. I still have Problems with it using LE just like any other cheap chinese Android Boxes.
The good part with These boxes is that there are many users including many DIY devs who Keep pushing the fixes for them. But for Odroid C2 we have to depend on Wrxtasy, and he has not time for Fixing Problems. You have to wait, and thats it. Nothing can be done.

wrxtasy: I still have video stuttering issue in your latest build for c2. I don't think you have time to solve this issue.
Atleast can you suggest me a build of yours which doesn't have this problem ?
This issue is seriously making me go crazy to the extent that why I invested in c2.
I hope you understand my situation.
Thanks in advance.

Finally had an afternoon free:
This is a 32bit ODROID-C2 LE 8.2.4.2 release, it is update compatible with @kszaq's C2 LE only:
LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.2.4.2-C2.tar
If you look in the boot.ini file you can safely Overclock the C2's CPU's to 1.752GHz
The Overclocked C2 is still the fastest non-HDR S9xx device in the AMLogic arsenal, especially when used with eMMC flash storage.
Now after much struggle i installed 8.2.1 OC Version and afterwards i installed C2 GUI Version.
Now you released 32bit version. I cant simply drop it in update folder and update to 32Bit no? Is this better than 64Bit 8.2.3 GUI Version?
Can you tell me how to update without losing my current addons?

Odroid C2 Temporary run images from USB - Amlogic - Armbian forum
Please note, the script s905_autoscript is in all my images, download it further is not necessary.
I cannot update to your latest Test build from Kszaq's last Version. Both are based on 32 bit architecture right ?
Theoretically it should install or am i understanding it wróngly ?

Patience Grasshopper, I do have a full time job you know.
64bit LE compatible with official LibreELEC C2 releases (not 32bit kszaq) start over on the Kodi thread:
ODROID C2 S905 2GB RAM HDMI 2.0 $46
All the later ones from that post onwards start including all my additions that the S912 and S905X releases have here.
I will try and look at a 32bit C2 compatible release this weekend.
Now back to the Aussie rules Footy...
Does Odroid C2 support ext4 file extension ?

only a solution in the short term since Kodi developers are determined to remove all the fixes which make the AML boxes work. They are trying to make AMLogic become more compliant with Linux standards - but since AML don't really care a damn for their small Linux base this is unlikely to happen. Expect these boxes to become more broken as time goes on.
The stirling efforts of the Open Source community to reverse engineer support into the Linux Kernel are slow as a snail and every time they get something working AML release a new chip with a totally new GPU which breaks things all over again. The real deep culprit is ARM who makes money out of licenses and so will not release source code for any of its patents and strictly prohibit their customers (AML) from doing likewise.
Intel and RaspPi are the only two manufacturers who will get reliable Kodi support in the future.
ShoogDoes Coreelec works better in Raspberry than in Odroid C2 ? and without any Video Stuttering ?

plikmuny did you try this release : MEGA
I install it on my Odroid C2 and every wrxtasy's tweak are in and work perfectly on my Odroid C2.
It was shared in this post : [8.2.4.1] LibreELEC Kodi Krypton - S905 & S912 devices
I want to try 8.2.4.2 Version. Because no matter which kodi 18 Version i try, it has a Video lag at the start and it stops oft while playing.
I am fed up of changing the Oses....
Moreover Odroid C2 is not a old Hardware. Now the developers are concentrating on the new upcoming Devices i guess. Did a mistake in buying C2. Should have bought a cheap s905 Box.
Do you have Video stuttering at the beginning of Video and also in between? I hate it. I have 50mbps here. Even then it sucks....
-
wrxtasy: do you really care for the Odroid C2 customers ? now i am feeling like you really give a very good software support. i am happy that i bought odroid c2 because you are solving odroid C2 users problems. keep it up
-
@balbes: can you tell me how to add the Autoscript line into Boot.ini pls?
Where do i find the s905 Autoscript by the way?
-
wrxtasy: where is the 32bit latest build for Odroid you promised?
None of your current releases work on Odroid C2.
-
Grab the last working kszaq LE C2 .tar release and uncompressed it on a PC / Mac.
Then overwrite the SYSTEM and KERNEL files on the SD / eMMC.
That should hopefully restore a working setup.
Not at home base at the moment, will do a 32bit compatible C2 release when I'm back.
Otherwise do a complete reflash of a LE C2 standard release and then upgrade with my aarch.tar update.
Not working. its struck at libreelec logo forever.
any solution ? is this version 8.2.4.2 or 8.2.5 from libreelec website latest one ?
