Okay, my super smart LG TV detected a new device and, for some reason, disabled Ultra HD deep color. After enabling it back I got my 4K UI and 4k@60hz output.
However, the issue with h264 persists, just compared to RPi 4 and the older one handles it way better and smoother. Sync to display option changes nothing.
I guess the 5 is gonna wait for more h265 content to come

I swear God there was a 4k GUI and 4k@60hz in some major previous builds for RPi 4, could be 10 or 9, now trying to remember where to rollback
This was okay on RPi 4 and LE 10.0.4 and dropping frames on RPi 5 and the latest nightly

Same thing works, 4 or 5 doesnt matter.
But 4 supports 4k GUI and 4k@60Hz..?
Offtopic, but 5 seems to be struggling hard without the h264 hardware decoder, 1080 blu-ray remuxes with multiple (like eight) audio tracks look not good at all (worked just fine on 4, playing from the SMB share, copper)
The big increase in performance from the Quad-Core A76 chip means RPi5 can software decode AV1, H264, VC1, VP9, and more at 1080p with ease.

My router's country code was UA, and RPi WiFi completely died after I set UA as PRi country code. It saw no networks, nothing.
Then I got wired and set PL as country code for both router and RPi, and it finally worked! 11n, 40MHz only, 1x1, but it works! Thanks a lot!
Anyway the fact LibreELEC does not support WiFi in Ukraine is weird
Power Management:offbut nothing has changed, still drops connection every 60 sec
After changing country code to US or DE, RPi still drops connecting every one minute, but then it's able to reconnect and obtain an IP, so there is some progress here, thanks
It's all about onboard WiFi. I also have a Tenda U12 dongle (rtl8812au chipset, 2604:0012) which I use with my PRi2 running Raspbian. I would even prefer to use it instead of the onboard wlan, but unfortunately I did not succeed in making it work with LibreElec, despite it detects the adapter:
