Hi hudyj. I used the port closest to the TFCARD. It is the only one that triggers something in my Windows (new device attached sound).

Regarding the cable, I used one cable from a cooling pad for laptops (no branded).

I would really suggest you to try to use a UART cable, to check exactly what is happening with your device.

    Hi dtech, thanks for helping.

I could not download the image from the link provided, since it is invalid. But I could download the same image on Download Android Nougat 7.1 firmware for Mecool KI Pro TV Box «

Unfortunately, this one also did not work. It produces:

DDR3 @792MHZ seems to be not working aswell.

    I need an img with LPDDR3 chl: Rank0+1 @ 720MHz, as a guess.

You said your ROM has 02 dt-ids. Do I need to do anythin to select one or other to be used with USB Burning Tool?

Hi, I have a bricked box for few years that I could recover the access using UART.

The box is Mecool K1 Plus. According to a label inside the box "KI PLUS S905D 1G 8G DDR3 LR".

There is no VIDEO if plugged to HDMI. I have tried many recoverys using AMLOGIC USB BURNING TOOL, holding reset button (upper and down) but nothing helped for years.

My box is recognized by USB BURNING TOOL without the need of pressing any of the buttons.

If i just plug the box to POWER, UART says:

    [HTML]GXL:BL1:9ac50e:a1974b;FEAT:ADFC318C;POC:3;RCY:0;EMMC:0;READ:0;CHK:AA;SD:0;READ:0;CHK:AA;USB:8;LOOP:1;EMMC:0;READ:0;CHK:AA;SD:0;READ:0;CHK:AA;USB:8;LOOP:2;EMMC:0;READ:0;CHK:AA;SD:0;READ:0;CHK:AA;USB:8;LOOP:3;EMMC:0;READ:0;CHK:AA;SD:0;READ:0;CHK:AA;USB:8;GXL:BL1:9ac50e:a1974b;FEAT:ADFC318C;POC:3;RCY:0;EMMC:0;READ:0;CHK:AA;SD:0;READ:0;CHK:AA;USB:8;[/HTML]

I have tried several .img files, but any of them work with USB BURNING TOOL. Now that I'm able to monitor the box with UART, I can see that some of the img files tested produce diferent errors:

I'm not expert on this, but the .img which seems to be "almost accepted" is the one that states: LPDDR3 chl: Rank0+1 @ 720MHz, but unfortunately, my box is not KII Pro.

The images I have for S905D K1 PLUS according to the label on my box, does net seem to use LPDDR3, so I'm concluding I just don't have the correct .img. Am I correct?

Can anyone help in my case? Provide me with a good .img for my box, or suggest any other action?

    Thanks

I have a bluetooth speaker that works well with LE through a USB bluetooth adapter.

My box is connected to TV through HDMI (Rockchip android box booting LE).

I saw some posts that some users were able to combine 02 audio outputs (most of them were HDMI + Analog).

I could find a user who was able to do that with Bluetooth + HDMI, but didn't teach how to.

Digging some websites, I could see which devices were selected at a time:

    I tried the following:

    Code
    pactl load-module module-combine-sink sink_name=combined slaves=bluez_sink.88_C6_26_04_B0_2C.a2dp_sink,auto_null sink_properties="device.description='Combined HDMI+ BT' device.icon_name='audio-card-symbolic'"

    But the output:

    Code
    Failure: Module initialization failed

Can some one help with the steps? I'm kinda learning linux/LE.

Btw, my /etc/pulse/default.pa is unwritable according to nano.

    Thx/shrug

    Try to follow these instructions

I tried to follow those instructions, and I had nothing but a black screen when trying to boot.

I formated the SDCARD to FAT32 an plugged it on a linux machine. See the output:

    creited

You are able to use Linux this is great because you can try armbian starting from SD!

Take your libreelec SD and substitute all the content of fat part and rootfs ext4 part with content from armbian.

In other words, don't touch miniloader-trustos-boot of libreelec mars II and use kernel init and rootfs from Jock compilation

    Give it a try

It seems to be so simple as you write, but unfortunatelly i'm noob with filesystems.

I burned a bootable LE on a SDCARD and I can see 02 partitions: LIBREELEC and STORAGE

I burned Armbian (Armbian 20.05.0 Debian Buster Minimal - kernel 5.4.21 - r329q board (only RK3228b and RK3229)) on a USB drive and I can see a 554 MB Volime:

I couldn't really understand how to mix these files (and which files). Can you help me?

    Thanks

There are some precompiled images and instructions on armbian forum, feel free to download and test them!

I will try this method, but i'm afraid of erasing flash on my box, since I don't have the firmware to flash android back later if necessary... (since it is a chinese version of T95Z, I couldn't find it on internet).

Is it possible to backup the flash/rom using rkdeveloptool? Is there any other way o backup my image?

creited : They really sold a rk3228 what should be an s912? That's hard ... However: Looks like I forgo to acitvate sdmmc in devicetree (though to the fact, that "original" h96 mini has no sd slot) ... I will update the legacy images soon and change this too. You could try v88 mars II (notice the "II") ... this should work as well.

Are you saying that it should be rk3228 even though AIDA 64 says rk3229? For the price paid, I was aware that s912 wouldn't be the chip inside.

Is there any android APP that I might run to see some chips information? Ie: Wireless chip, DDR3 or other... etc.

I will give it a try with the image you suggested. Thank you very much!

    Hi!

I have a fake chinese box T95Z Plus like this picture:

    console-player-smart-tv-t95z-plus-led-android-9-4gb64gb-D_NQ_NP_940005-MLB40637846789_022020-F.webp

Using AIDA 64, I checked it has RK3229 chip, so I am trying to apply one of these LE versions to the SDCARD.

I bought this box advertised with 64gb / 4gb, but realized it actually is 16 gb / 4gb which is no problem at all. It is said to have android 9, but it could be a fake information as well. I did not check.

I tried to load all images informed to work with RK3229:

A95X1, D88, HK1 mini, V884K, V88Mars and HPH NT-N8. All these images won't show anything else than a black screen.

By accident I tried h96mini (it was before trying all the images mentioned above), and for this image I had the green led around the box on. With the other images no leds went up. Booting a standard android makes the leds shine in diferent collors like the image I posted above.

But after some time, I can see the following on the screen:

    Code
grep: /proc/net/pnp: No such file or directory
    ### Error in mount_flash: mount_common: Could not mount UUID=1401-5232
    ### Starting debugging shell for boot step: mount_flash... type exit to quit ###
    #

    And it hangs on this.

If i type exit and press enter, I can see the LE logo in the center of the screen, but nothing else happens.

Do you guys have any suggestion for my case?

    Thanks
