Is included in which build, in this [8.90.5] LibreELEC 9.0 Alpha for S905/S912 devices ?
Yes, included since 8.90.4. On earlier builds also worked by default, as they were using the Amlogic remote.conf method.

Can anyone upload config to mecool m8s pro+ ?
Mecool M8S Pro+ is remote config is included on this build (as stated on the first post). I've only added a rule to run 'ir-ctl -t 30000' at boot to have better response from rapid keypresses (someone gave the instructions some posts before this one).
I was getting errors when trying to modify the patch, and I was recompiling every release removing this patch to have my tuner supported.
Yesterday I finally found the error. I've submitted this pull request with the changes. Now Cinergy S2 USB Rev.4 is working, and the new tuners added by this patch should be working as well. The modification only reverts the removal of the lines needed to support my tuner.
This is the first time I submit a pull request, so maybe I made something wrong in the process. I hope it can be reviewed and merged, so I and anyone using this tuner can return to official builds again.
Indeed, it was the SD card, but not for it's size. I've made an image and burnt it to another SanDisk 128GB card (Ultra, not Extreme) and it's working flawlessly.
Previously I've tried a Lexar 633x 32GB and I was having the same problems as with the SanDisk Extreme.
The 128GB Extreme card is working fine on my S905 Mini MXIII box. It seems some devices are more picky with SD cards than others.
Actually I'm using a SanDisk Extreme 128GB.
I've recently got a KI Pro and it's always freezing on Mecool logo after rebooting or powering up after shutdown from remote. I've tried afl1 latest 8.2 devel version and kszaq latest 8.2.1.1 with same results. I've also tried a different SD card but no luck either.
Do I need to use temp_sensor_disabled builds with the KI Pro?
CvH I've made a 8.1.1 build yesterday reverting the removal of the lines related related to TERRATEC_CINERGY_S2_R4 here , here , and here , and now it's being correctly initialized and working again on LE 8.1.1
I've added a comment on the commit with these changes in linux_media repository, asking for them to be reversed.
I'm using a RPi2 with two dvb-t and one dvb-s2 tuners, connected to my lan through a Wi-Fi router acting as a repeater, and I can watch 3 simultaneous 1080p streams (one on the Rpi2 and the other two on S905 boxes) without any trouble.
I,ve just installed it and it's working fine on my RPi2. Unfortunately my Terratec Cinergy S2 Rev.4 isn't correctly initialized (I've tested the add-ons enabling one of them with the other two disabled, and also tested disabling all three, rebooting after any change).
Please tell me when the add-on with the changes we have commented on the other thread is ready to do more tests.
It's working well under 8.0.2. I'm reverting to this version after doing the test and it works perfectly fine on it.
I wonder if it's because the media_build uses the dvbsky driver while mainstream linux kernel is using the dw2102 driver. Maybe it worked well before with this driver, but some change in 4.9 kernel made it fail.
Can you try to build a 8.1.1 manually removing the entries for Cinergy S2 Rev.4 from dvbsky.c and adding them to dw2102.c
If so, I can test it on the Raspberry and on an old HTPC I have lying around, and if it solves the problem, you can submit a PR with the changes to the media_build repository.
Ok, testing done.
Your latest version doesn't work, and latest working build from Milhouse master is 20170107. On 20170108 the module changes from being identified as 'Terratec Cinergy S2 USB BOX' to 'Terratec Cinergy S2 Rev.4' and the error appears.
Looking at the commits, it seems to coincide with the upgrade to 4.9 kernel.
I hope this can help to identify the source for this problem.
It seems to be correctly recognized and initialized on latest Raspbian (as 'Terratec Cinergy S2 USB BOX').
Here are the dmesg: debian Pastezone
I don't have any USB hub. It's connected directly to one of the pi's usb ports.
Tested, but still doesn't work.
Dmesg for v3: LWMX
I didn't say it earlier, but thank you very much for your dedication. I've just sent you some beers.

David
I can see the Cinergy S2 Rev.4 is included in the dw2102.c file on Raspberry Linux 4.9.y branch as 'TERRATEC_CINERGY_S2_BOX'. It was added in this commit: [media] dw2102: Add support for Terratec Cinergy S2 USB BOX · raspberrypi/linux@93b6642 · GitHub
Shouldn't it be working without any patches?
Sadly still not working.
