Tanks, but im confused. Reason:
Current plan is to release official Alphas for RPi4 along with the other Alpha builds.
RPi2/3 releases will probably follow later as there's a major issue in the video driver (screen going blank). Once that's fixed RPi2 alpha builds will follow.
so long,
Hias

HEVC has been working for months (H264 is/was the hold-up). 4K is working now (not 4K60, but that's will be along eventually). HDR is complicated but will come. Upstreaming will take time.. but getting it all working comes first. We aren't going to do a formal Pi release for LE10 out of an abundance of caution (we have hundreds of thousands of Pi users) but things are moving along nicely..
HI chewitt
i guess its time for a offical Alpha LE 10 version

Will LE going on a another release strategy like only nightlies and then final version?
Or will there be "official" Alphas and beta releases?

Well, write speeds sure are better on a SSD than on a SDcard. And they last longer, I've binned a couple of SDcards in the last 2 years.
I'm using a Startech.com USB3/SATA cable adapter and an almost 12-yr old prehistoric 60GB OCZ Vertex 1 (sata II) SSD.
60 GB for LE !?
16 GB are enough? Why so much?

Hi Klojum
ok, i switch from SD Card to USB 3.0 Stick with latest Pi4 Firmware.
That was worth!
Can i expect more speed from a USB 3.0 Stick to a SSD ?
-
It this worth Libreeelc on a SSD ? Which one do you use ?
-
Ok, thanks four quick response.
I can wait. I have a full HD TV and im more interested if there an general technical way on Pi 4. (HDR to SDR)
-
will there be a (technical way) "HDR to SDR" to play HDR files on a 1080p TV ?
-
I guess LE10 (first version) will coming when matrix has arrived beta status?
-
Yes, this version is stable.

Hi all,
will there be another Leia Release with Kodi 18.9 ?
-
Sorry, you dont understand my question.
-
Not really, i dont want make a clean install.
Is there no other way ?
-
So, i have new USB Sticks ordered (32GB). My SD Card was also 32GB.
If i want to write the the image from SD Card system says, there are not enough sectors. (just a few)
I i continue writing it is ok but my PI says corrupt file system.
Is there any chance to get a partition smaller to get enough space? (storage has 27GB free for example)
Thanks!
-
nope, i always use wired connection wit static ip.
EDIT:
Ok, i dont know why but i erase usb stick and write the image again.
Now internet works fine
Other question: can i expect more performance from SSD against usb 3.1?
-
Thanks, now i have latest updates.
I wrote my backup image from SD card to USB 3.0 stick. Works fine.
But i dont have any internet connection with usb - sd card no problems.
Any ideas why ?

Is there a documentation how to do manual Updates in LE ?
