You have a 1080p movie and and a clean LE 9 and LE 10 install.
The picture is on LE 10 much darker.

LE9 has no support for HDR. If you play a HDR video then the colours will be completely wrong (and typically brighter/more washed out) than they should be.
LE10 does support HDR.
No, you have this case with a full HD movie, it is not depending on HDR files.

Check your TV settings, most likely you have different picture settings configured for the internal player than for the HDMI port with your RPi.
I'm not familiar with your Samsung TV but on my LG OLED the picture settings (Cinema/Game/Sports etc preset, brightness, picture "enhancements" etc) are separate per HDMI port and internal player / apps again have separate settings.

I am running libreelec on two Rpi.
On Rpi4 I could upgrade to version 10.0.2 successfully.
But on Rpi3 after choosing the right update channel, the list of available versions is empty.
Is version 10.0.2 supporting Rpi3 ?

I tried a HARD RESET through the LibreELEC GUI (storage wipe) which should be the same than a fresh install as far as I understand. It did not help.
Please make a fresh LE installtion (mybe with SD Card)

I don't even know which addon is meant this list is huge. However this issue is definitly not addon related so it sounds like a lame excuse to me.
Did you have the issue if you make a fresh LE installation?

While non of the devs seam to care I just wanted to warn other useres that the bug still exists in 10.0.2

No you should set them all. Videos can be encoded with 59.94fps and 24fps and not allowing them in whitelist will mean occasional frame drops.
Never seen a movie with 59.94 Hz ...

Same here, audio delay with new installation.
My settings, 1080p60 for GUI, whitelist 1920p60/59.94/50/24/23.976...
GUI with 50Hz is enough.
It is only neccessary to set 60 Hz, 50 Hz and 23.98 Hz in whitelist.

that is just the "release" at the source code
but I think you properly like the finished "just copy over, reboot" product better
We have some time in between create a sourcecode release -> building -> testing the finished images -> really "releasing" it to public.

LE 10.0.2 comes in a few hours/days.
All changes are included in this build.
