I have a functioning SD card and zet_lab suggested here that you could flash the eMMC: Version of LibreELEC for RK3328 TV Box?

The problem I now have is that the device is recognized but not registered in /dev. Without the /dev path I cannot even try to flash the eMMC.

I hoped that someone knew about that and if that could be solved.

I hope that somebody here has some experience with the MX10.

This is what I've done so far:

Connect USB cable to furthest USB port on the MX10 and a PC with a Linux OS (Debian Buster with kernel 4.19.0-6-amd64).

Shortcut pins with tweezers until light goes out. I had to hold it a few seconds after which it stayed red.

In terminal, check if the MX10 is in rom mode:

According the the line “Couldn't open device, some information will be missing” no device was created. Indeed, lsblk does not show a new device.

This is where I am stranded.

Does anyone have any ideas how to proceed?

Thanks ukmark62! I recently bought an MX10 and with your dtb it booted the latest LE fine (generic Rockchip box, 9.2 alpha).

I've attached a bash script to create the SD with the img.gz and your dtb, if you're interested.

Now, I have some questions:

Is it possible to flash the MX10 with LE so that I do not need the SD card?
I can use a mouse but cannot use a remote. Is there a way to fix that (perhaps manually editing configuration files)?
