XU4 has a completely different chipset, so imagine it would require a bit of work.

According to what I read, the crontab file may need a username. ie
0 1 * * * root /storage/helloworld.sh

Confirmed successful boot on Mini MXIII II - just insert SD Card and reboot, no holding of reset button required.
(there is no Wifi/Bluetooth available yet however, which was expected - the driver source code still needs to be obtained for this device)
Confirming the Scishion V88 Pro (S905X, SCISHION V88 PRO TV Box Powered by Amlogic S905X SoC Sells for $22 (Promo)) boots from SD card with that build. Thanks.

Yes I have already tried that, and have now got it to boot from USB via method 3, but have now run into anther problem.
Pleased to say I got it to boot LE successfully from the SD Card.

nickr,
Try to found reset through the AV socket, some TV boxes have inside reset.Yes I have already tried that, and have now got it to boot from USB via method 3, but have now run into anther problem.

Thanks, yes there is no hole. I did look underneath. On every surface actually, even under the QC sticker on the bottom.
But I found that if I put a zip file, any zip file ONTO the USB stick and choose that in the update app, it boots from the USB. However I now get a tty error. Progress, now to investigate that one.

Hi there, I bought a s905x box on a whim - this one: SCISHION V88 PRO TV Box Powered by Amlogic S905X SoC Sells for $22 (Promo) (it was only $21.00)
It has android and a fully loaded kodi (quite fascinating really, not that much of the "loaded" stuff works). Naturally I want to run LE.
Following post 1 I cannot get it to boot from USB. Looking at the 3 suggested methods:
QuoteTo boot the system for the first time you have to use one of the following:
- toothpick method: disconnect the power supply, insert card/drive, use a toothpick to push reset button and connect the power while holding the button. Wait until LibreELEC logo appears and release the button.
- There is no reset button that I can find. SOme similar boxes have a reboot button within the AV socket, but alas that doesn't seem to be the case with this one. Quote

recovery method: boot into Android, insert card/thumb drive and choose Reboot to recovery. Your box should boot into LibreELEC.

recovery method (take 2nd variant): if you have "Update" app pre-installed open it, insert SD card with LE/connect USB drive, and choose any ZIP file in the app for update. Your box should reboot to LE.
So I am lost. Any ideas? -
Chromebox would meet your needs.

Works fine for me with a chromebox with libreelec.

You have channels set to 2.1

Not a debug log

No you need to supply a debug log.

So are you thinking it is the new enigma client? You should probaby report that in the appropriate place on kodi forums.

Spdif passthrough is not equivalent to hdmi passthrough. Spdif is limited to stereo pcm or compressed 5.1 via dts or ac3. You won't get hd audio like dts-ma, truehd or greater than 2 channel pcm.
Is it that bad running 1080p 16:9? Not sure how distorted that would be in practice.
