I searched for this for a long time and there is no information almost on the internet. I will leave the answer for someone who is looking for. I bought a cheap X96 Mini box, possible fake box by the price, still a S905W processor.
With the Libreelec 9.0.2 I get full TrueHD and DTS MA HD audio on my receiver. Just enabled the Pass Thru and all started to work.
Just remember you won't see the receiver show DTS-MA or TrueHD. Just the PCM but the audio is full HD.
Now i noticed the MXQ. Most of the. Are rockchip 3229 and it wont work.
use the tool to download and create the sdcard. Dtb I used the 280 version which will be found on the driver after you ceeate the sdcard.
Finally... I got the files from this post LE9.0 remote configs ir-keytable Amlogic devices
Remote is the same. Just change the name to x96Mini and pointed to the RC_Table and all is working now.. Perfect... couldnt be better.
The connection refused was the SSH disabled. I just enabled on the Libreelec options and it connected just fine.
guys, i was able to run on my x96 mini LE9.0.2.
Finally was able to make th edts ma and trueHD passthru.
The only missing piece now is the remote. I have used p281 1g File. Changing the dtb file should work with remote?
I am asking that because i am for some reason unable to connect ssh with putty. It gives me connection refused? So i cant access the required folder.
How can i fix that?
