Niabi, what host Debian or Ubuntu were you able to compile qt-everywhere on?

I created shadowsocks package.mk, for PKG_DEPENDS_TRRGET="toolchain qt-everywhere qtbase" I place qt-everywhere and qtbase with there package.mk in ../package/addons/addon-depends. Ran the scripts/build shadowsocks but getting the following errors after awhile compiling.

Not sure how to solve this.

I will like to build this "hxxps://http://github.com/shadowsocks/shadowsocks-qt5" as an addon for my LibreElec box; not sure if it was built before, but will like to try as it will give me the confidence to make other addons.

I have a LibreElec built environment, and the toolchain dependencies required to compile, hxxps://http://github.com/shadowsocks/shadowsocks-qt5/wiki/Compiling; installed on my Debian box.

By following your tutorial here hxxps://http://wiki.libreelec.tv/index.php?title=Adding_a_Package. Will I be able to make this addon or am I wasting my time? Thanks

If you really want to build mc yourself, just build it from kszaq's tree (PROJECT=S805 ARCH=arm scripts/build mc).

Please let me know if you need further help.

It is, just limited in not able to untar a file by tapping on it like in OE, and any file made with it has to be untar via tar -xf filename

It will therefore be availabe through the LibreELEC repository, and hopefully be picked up by other builds, eg for S805.

Can you tell me where I can get the source code to compile MC into LibreELEC? The OpenELEC source code apparently is no more. Also I compiled this once which does not untar .tar files when tap on them, why I do not know. In OE it works fine.

I made a backup using putty, tar -cpf /storage/backup/blabal .tar /storage/.kodi* /storage/.cache* /storage/.config* when the .tar file is made, in MC on OE just tap on the .tar and it will extract. In MC on LibreELEC it will not.

If I move a .tar from OE which will extract fine in OE; into MC on LE it will not extract at all; however any .tar file made in LE by MC transfer to OE will also NOT extract in OE nor in LE.

Not sure as to why. Your help would be appreciated.

I am on LE ver 8.0.1a on S802 (Kernel 3.10.105) Kodi 17.1-RC2

Balbes150 first thanks for your contribution to the LE community. Do you happen to have a S812 update.tar for a Lan100 unit with the latest KRYPTON built on it? If you do, can you point me to it and also the github source code please. I want to move this unit from OE to LE. Plus I will like to compile from source as well.

Kszaq, any chance of making this Release 7.0.3 for LibreELEC · kszaq/my-addons · GitHub for LE8.* for S802 / S812. aml-vnc works like a charm on OE-6.0

When it boots that is the first thing comes up "Amlogic Mali 450 quad core S802"
