    Hi,

I have an RPI 3 with wifi disabled and using internal Bluetooth. I connected it a BlackBerry audio thingy that then is connected to my stereo. The BB thing is old but I have been using it since 5 years or so, always worked, zero issues.

The first thing I noticed is that after being connected, audio lags with about one second (late). After waiting a few minutes, it is back in sync. I then watch whatever and after 10-20 minutes, Bluetooth audio is gone. I can reconnect Bluetooth (it did not disconnect, just wanted to cycle the connection to see if that helps). Nothing. Audio is gone. I then need to reboot and all is back to step one.

Log file says nothing. Has anyone else experienced that? Like, are people using this for audio and watching videos?

    cheers,

    chris

So, I know, no bug report. But problem is, I watch a stream (can be youtube or anything, even local media). About every 2-3 hours (sometimes earlier), the video stutters and about 1-2 seconds later it hangs. I can see wifi doing something (USB Wifi blinks) but that is it. Dead. I then cycle it and it happens again in 2-3h.

There is NEVER a crash log. The regular log says nothing. It feels like the log dies before the video dies.

Am I the only one to ever experience that. Did not see anyone else complaining.

Please take a photo of the stack trace on screen; close up and steady enough that we (or someone who understands it) can see all the text clearly.

See attached picture. SD card is fine. It was running alpha 3 or 4 and I upgraded it to 6. Failed. I then wiped the SD and wrote a new image on it. Result is the same. I went back to openelec and it also worked fine. I do want to use LibreElec though ;)

I don't know how to attach pictures apparently ;) If you open the link it will display the picture...

    Hi,

so 7.9.4 worked fine. I upgraded to 6 (auto update). When it rebooted right after the splash screen (or rather during) it gave me a Oops 5 (#1) ARM and some trace and that is it. I figured it could have been the upgrade process so I used the USB creator to write a new install on the SD. Same result.

This worked finr with 3 and 4 (auto upgrade). 5 I did not try so not sure if it had the same result. Any idea? Given that I have not really altered or did whatever to it, there is not much I could have done wrong...

    thanks,
    chris

Another 'obvious' one: maybe using a HDMI port labled PC/DVI, that has no audio in.
Out of 4 HDMI ports my tv has one that functions like that. (audio goes in via mini jack)

I be damned... two HDMI cables, both have been used. The 2nd one not in a while. So I connected it to the other one and poof... audio... So, my bad. I should have tried. To my defense, it takes endless crawling under TV to do it...

I wonder why the cable decided, ok, that's it, I will now operate poorly out of the blue

    Thanks for answering!

    Hi,

I remember this was an issue with OpenElec way past ago. So I installed beta 3, all worked fine. Except there is no sound thru HDMI. Anywhere I can tweak something? I am surprised I did not see any posts about it. Am I the only one?

    thanks,
    Chris
