Thanks for your information
Do Wifi and Bluetooth work under the Rock960 images?
How do you get the image on the internal EMMC memory?
Yes, WiFi & Bluetooth both work flawlessly, using the above dtb.
About eMMC, there is no support for it in Official images by LE. Internal Storage is not recognisable at all.
Images by bybalbes150 do have eMMC support and you can install to it through LE Settings Menu.
I am curious ...
Which LE image do you currently use on your NanoPC-T4?
Rock960 image from Index of /, because I watch a lot of 10bit x2664/HEVC (mostly Anime) haha.
Hello once again @JerryPenguin
Yes, indeed it was the *.gz updating which caused alterations to dtb. Now I have to replace dtb every time I do the LE Update.
Ethernet is now working smoothly.
Hello back @JerryPenguin
Thank you for checking it on your device.
I have 1 thing in mind which might have caused no ethernet device, which is when I do Kodi build updates from within Kodi by downloading and place the .gz file in the update folder could have altered the Recalbox's dtb. I'll replace the dtb again and give it a test.
Otherwise the ethernet is working if I boot into Android from eMMC.
Very long time see LE strange, when I watch TV sometimes interrupt broadcast (unstable broadcasting), resulting in the appearance of the download icon (it's normal), but then when the broadcast continues, the picture sometimes freezes, the sound continues to work fine. It only helps to stop playback and resume watching TV channel again. (a similar problem has long been observed on Android devices, on the PC this problem is not observed)
We also have this Caching issue using ROCKPro64 build with DTB from Recalbox's ROCKPro64 on NanoPC-T4 (RK3399). This issue is very annoying for sure.
A fix for this problem will be much appreciated from anyone.
When you use Recalbox dtb on NanoPC-T4, is your ethernet working with the latest dtb from 3 June?
I'm having caching issue on WiFi, so I thought I'll switch to ethernet. I plugged in my cable and disabled WiFi, but I got no Internet access and Kodi had no ethernet settings under LibreELEC Settings.
I dropped in ssh and ran "ifconfig". There were only two interfaces wlan0 & lo, no eth0.
Have anyone noticed that some rare types of videos are playing in only Red Colour Tone?
That's just like me.
I use the Khadas-Edge image with the same DTB file from Recalbox.
Yesterday I tested the test image (is kernel 5.1) of Kwiboo.
It already works fine and under kernel 5.1 the NanoPC-T4 is natively supported, so there is also a DTB file.
You tested the dtb with which image? One from Index of /? Was the Wi-Fi working, because without it I would have no access to it lol
Thanks for testing on a NanoPC-T4.
I am working on an update to linux v5.1.15 and will include initial H264 hw decoding support, aiming to have it ready later this week.
Looking forward to it as I'm also an NanoPC-T4 user, if you need any kind of testing ping me up.
Is there already an image of LE with kernel 5.1 for NanoPC-T4?
No, one I'm using is the Rock960 image with dts extracted from GitHub - mrfixit2001/recalbox_rockpro64: Recalbox for the ROCKPRO64 board from PINE64.org
It's still on Kernel 4.4.154
Are the dark scenes of Game of Thrones 8x3 way too dark and I couldn't see much of the fight? Lol
Coming from a RPi3, dark scenes are darker and hard to see, though bright scenes looks better.
Anyone else facing same thing?
What versions are reported in the settings of the Thoradia add-on?
Is this what you are asking for?
Does your Repo and Add-ons works on RK3399? I have installed the Repo 0.0.19 from zip, restarted the device, but when I try to "install from repository " it keep saying "Could not connect to repository". Where on my RPi3, it is working all fine.
SBC = NanoPC-T4 (RK3399)
I'm having another issue. When ever I'm streaming video files either from the Internet, YouTube or local network, when then video caches sometimes the video gets stuck and audio keeps playing.
Great news everyone, Official Kernel support for the NanoPC-T4 is starting from v5.1 ([v2,11/14] rockchip: rk3399: Add Nanopc T4 board support - Patchwork). I hope when Kodi updates to it, we will see official support from LibreELEC as well and nightlies will start rolling.
Let's hope for the best here
Anyone having Broken Video Orientation problem of videos taken in portrait mode (like from smartphones)? Videos plays 90° CCW, but stretched vertically.
Well I figure out how to get it installed. It's part of the install of the Netflix. Yeay I have Netflix now working!
For everyone else, here is my NanoPi M4...
How did you install InputStream_Adaptive? I'm using the latest Nightly, but whenever I try to install it keeps saying Installation failed instantly. I need InputStream_Adaptive for YouTube for DASH because of a lot of video play in 360p quality and it sucks badly lol
Any info on this matter.
Edit 1: After many reboots and shutdowns, I got it to install, but it's very glitchy. Many video from YT which are 4k/8k with 60fps shows black screen and audio only and then the whole Kodi will glitches out that you have to reboot (or hard reboot) to get it fixed.
I also noticed the any changes Add-on's Settings won't work until you reboot Kodi.
