I'm running LE 12 on my pi5 w/flirc case. Temps stay around 46C.

If you must have another OS installed, why not just install Kodi on that OS? I have multiple HTPCs running LE, but on my laptops, I just install Kodi, works very well.

It still comes down to education. People shouldn't be uncleanly shutting down any device. Put LE on a ups to survive power outages and properly use the shutdown menu to power LE off. No more problem.

Thanks for the link, mine went belly up a couple days ago and this update seems to have fixed the issue.

Hmm, I'm away from home at the moment so I can't check mine. I figure we may as well get used to the "new normal" of unqualified help mucking things up.

I assume you meant youtube add-on, not app. It's not working here either. Was working yesterday. Hopefully things will get sorted soon. It's obviously not out configs.
edit: it appears that the add-on is functioning again.

Yeah, you're asking way too much from your pi. Before I moved to a NAS setup I had 3 4TB usb drives on each of my HTPCs, a NUC and a pi3B. I used docking stations that had their own power supplies and never had an issue.

Working fine here, too. 9.2.3 on Rpi3B

As this is NOT the area to gripe about issues, I'd just like to thank everyone responsible for this software. The update went flawlessly on both my NUC and Rpi3B setups.

Just upgraded both my NUC and RPi3 systems and it was a smooth and successful upgrade. Thanks for all your hard work on this.

Under Settings/Player/Discs is a setting to play DVDs automatically. That works for me when I attach a DVD player to my NUC.

I have found that Klojum is correct, this is a TV issue. You may have to spend considerable time getting up close and personal with your TV settings, but once you find it and make the correct setting the problem disappears. On my Philips it was under picture format. I had it set to auto which seemed logical to me, but when I changed it to unscaled the issue cleared up.

Great job folks. Flawless upgrade on both my NUC and rpi3. Thanks!
