Hi,

I reported a problem with my openelec wetek box some time ago here.

I reported the crash to the kodi team here, too. The colleagues told me that it originates from a linux kernel issue not yet solved?

So I gave the new Beta 2 release (having a new linux kernel version) a try, still hoping that the crashes are fixed. But finally the system crashed again.

Note that an other STACK TRACE is reported compared to the prior reported problem.

Hope anybody can help? Having to restart the box permanently isn't a solution my wife accepts.

my good old wetek openelec box is always crashing after a more or less random period of time, lasting not much longer than 2 days. Here the kodi.log

After the crash always the libreelec ** safemode ** screen is shown. Hope anybody can help. Thanks in advance.

Hi tnds82,

I totally agree. In case I want to restart the box it shuts down and hangs. Due to this I have to power off the box to see the wetek play logo and to trigger a boot process.

I got the error too. I wasn't abel to update per tar or img.gz file any more. Due to this I had to do a full NAND install (back to 8.2.5). Maybe it's an additional error?

However, I succeeded. And I installed your pr3080 distribution. And ... taterata ... sound is fine. The noise is gone. I tested by playing a lot of tv channels and videos I had on my box and HD.

But kodi crashes all the time. After at least two days I've a kodi safeboot screen.

Also during my tests the whole box crashed and I had to reboot two times.

Hi,

today I compiled the 01f20a4 github snapshot for my wetek play 1 and I got sound problems too. In case I start a tvheadend sat tv channel in my PVR client plugin a few seconds it's ok but then a noise remains that sounds a little like a metallic noise. Interestingly it not occures on every channel. So it maybe depends on sound properties of the selected channel?
