Using Android 7.0 for better support with the board and display I am using. Kodi is available from the F-Droid default repository so that should be good.

I am fairly new to using LibreELEC. I am developing a mobile media player using a Banana Pi M64 single-board computer to replace an Apple iPod Touch. Deciding if I should just have Debian 9 with Kodi Media Center installed or use LibreELEC as the main OS. Looking for something like the "Notes" app included in Apple iOS. Looked at the official repository but did not find anything but an add-on for Evernote integration. Just a text editor could work.

Plugged it in to a Apple IPad charger (5.1v 2.1a) and it does not show up.
Note: at the time of the photo I was using a charger from IKEA which put out 5v

The icon only shows when I boot into Libre
It has shown before even when I was using a 5v 1a supply

Update: DML officially taken down and removed from the locker by request from my school, reusing the parts to build something much more useful
A handheld device that almost does everything that DML did
I named it MediaCow after of Byrne Dairy, the convenience stores that i lived near when i was a little kid
The design of it is based off a device in a dream i had when i was 4 or 5
with a frame constructed out of 2-by-4s

Charged the battery last night and it is back up to 13.8v, booted the pi again into raspbian and reconnected the drive and got this error
(The photo might show up twice in this post, I have a slow connection inside my school)

That might be the problem, I have not charged the battery since September 23
The disc still spins up though

It had worked before with a another drive with the NTFS file system , it seems like it is reading some information on the drive by showing the name of the drive while unplugging from usb, the drive does not have any jumpers

How is the hard drive being powered ?
12v power supply
It's difficult to see from that what exactly you are doing.
click on pictures, you should see the usb device, then add pictures, & browse to your pictures folder.
for movies, go down to videos, + videos, then browse to your usb,, root/media/usb then select type of content, ie movies, & let it scan, then in the main windows click on Movies to see the movies scanned into your library
I will try that soon
