I'm currently running 10.0.4 and matrix 19.5 on a generic machine.
i just tried it at LE11 nightly, likewise something else is missing for LE10, I have a look tomorrow

we support jellyfin and emby servers, that can run in addition to kodi too
We didn't shipped the chrome addon updates by accident, its fixed now and live at the repo.
Tested it and works for me
just for the record, it should work if you update with steps
LE7-> LE8 -> LE9 -> LE10
Thanks for the replies I am now looking at a Sat-IP box (megasat). Should I set this up with TVHeadEnd or is there a simpler way to connect this to LE?
your DVB Box -> Tvheadend -> LE Kodi addon pvr.hts
I am not sure what megasat device you are looking for but options are so maybe some options are not doable:
megasat + minisatip -> LE Tvheadend -> LE Kodi addon pvr.hts
megasat + minisatip -> NAS Tvheadend -> LE Kodi addon pvr.hts
megasat -> LE Kodi addon pvr.vuplus (no idea how good this works)
megasat -> LE Kodi addon pvr.iptvsimple (no epg, usual slower channel switch times)
keep me posted, never saw any feedback about the twin
finding a source to purchase a Digibit unit
afaik you can also use some receiver that based at enigma/openatv... and install minisatip on them
they are pricewise the cheapest way in getting a sat>ip server
disclaimer, never tried it my self
If TBS support is likely to remain problematic
It is and will remain problematic because there are ZERO efforts to upstream the drivers so the whole old thing gets just forward ported regardless if left and right other drivers break. Currently there are not even drivers for the current kernel because just older kernels are supported. Current state we do not include the drivers at LE11.
Just go the Sat>Ip route (different ways to do it), so you are not dependent at the Linux DVB driver madness.
its hard to find one that supports 480i
isnt SD always interlaced ? so afaik get some random converter, works
for some reason we never put the 10.0.3.ova to the release folder (maybe it was not build by mistake), its fixed with 10.0.4 release (soon)
Hello CvH you need to follow the instructions from the tails tutorial i mentioned in post number 5
The import disk to vm part is not that difficult but I have no luck in running it.
As soon I switch to uefi/q35 I am not able at all to boot from the LE.img anymore. If I run it with your settings I end up at the efi loader.
I switched the boot order to boot from the LE.img.
Running it with i440fx/pc35 and SeaBios I can even install LE, but it does not run past the LE bootscreen.
short answer is no
1. Live TV (HDHOMERUN) audio is out of sync.
2. Slower internet speeds using ethernet. 1/3 of what I pay for.
3. GUI is just slow overall.
please try the MUCH more recent version of LE11 https://test.libreelec.tv/
it goes final the next weeks
and make sure that you didn't set the display to 4k at kodi
works with both
I quickly tried it but it does not work, I am stuck at a reboot loop. I just see it booting and thats it.
Is that setup correct ?
Given that AMD users are recommended not to upgrade, what are we supposed to do instead?
running a LE10 nightly (that has all the fixes included) or wait for LE10.0.4 or LE11
What's the difference bewetten Generic and Generic-Legacy?
starting with LE11 we defaulting to gbm that allows HDR and stuff, sadly NVIDIA does not supports it yet so the LE11 Generic-legacy image still provides a X11 enviroment like we used it before LE7-LE10
should be fixed some weeks ago, if not just tell me
