For such old HW its likely even better to switch to Windows 10 to get the maximal support/performance.
Windows could also autostart kodi and such stuff so you never need to look at the dektop etc.

it was frequently broken due a issue at the build host, that should be fixed now, I hope

likely its not py3 compatible yet

We are currently pulling the final changes to LE10 so it is soon now much more reasonable to build it at all.
We had unexpected package bumps of ~200 packages at LE and another 800 coming so its currently difficult to provide something without frequently rebuilding everything.

I already build it, I just used the patches from upstream and placed them into the kodi patch folder.
I can push a git branch if you like.
-
just put the tar into the update folder and reboot

So I can switch with no worries the tuner on the rp4 when le10 is out?
Yes, the drivers are at least at the dedicated driver addon avaible or via patch.

pls provide more informations, like what device you are using and pls a logfile
Please provide a full debug log.How to post a log (wiki)1. Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging2. Restart Kodi3. Replicate the problem4. Generate a log URL (do not post/upload logs to the forum)
use "Settings > LibreELEC > System > Paste system logs" or run "pastekodi" over SSH, then post the URL link -
That the patch is gone right?
yes
So maybe it would be a good step to implement the patches in the new version or as a separate driver update patch, so others can benefit also.
the patch is later at LE10, RPi0-3 are like need to stay a bit longer at LE9.2 due the major driver shift of the Raspberry

LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-9.2-Haupage-WinTv-Nova.img.gz
manual adjusted the patch, no idea if it works
so better make a backup
-
hmm the patch looks nice and this should be working with LE10, but currently the RPi3 is only VERY limited supported at current nightly builds
its not too trivial to self build a updated LE9.2 with that patch
I have a look if I can run it in the evening (pls pm me if I forget it)
