nope non of it, this is not something you should do at some normal distribution

I think this is doable somehow, windows itself supports all these stuff and more but likely get dropped

WSL for example could handle that.

open ssh in terminal

systemctl stop kodi

then use winscp to copy the files to the new system

then reboot, should work i think

Syntax isn't quite right.

exactly, for windows it looks like

rsync.exe -av --delete -e ssh [email protected]:/storage/ /cygdrive/d/test/

/cygdrive/d/test/ translates to D:\test\ where the files should be copied at windows host

/storage/ is the path at Libreelec

--delete deletes if nessesary files at backup destination, so if you delete it at LE it gets deleted there too, if you remove it from the commandline you just add stuff to the folder and never removes anything

if the system can't find a working ntp it is normal that it tries frequently

syncing my /storage/.kodi/ from my kodi box (192.168.0.222)to d:\test

takes 20sec after first run to take a backup from my current LE

works also at every unix based system if you have a rsync there

wondering what is different to oscam these days ? ncam is dead for 3 years

might work, sadly the default skin doesn't support those basic stuff like adding new menu items or similar that is requested for decades so you need a 3rd party skin or in this case a mod of the default skin

You can use rsync to backup frequently, even while you use your system. Takes maybe a minute or so.

at big libs a RPi/you name it is noticeable slower compared to x86

Kodi itself is not perfectly optimized so x86 is solving it with throwing raw power onto kodi

I guess I didn't expressed correctly what I meant to say. Looking from mainline POV.

RK/AW took a lot longer (time from hw release) to get into a proper usable shape (I ignore the vendor kernel approach) compared to the RPi4.

So if RPi took him too long to work properly he has basically no other SBC that was quicker.

And ofc Amlogic is sadly not even properly usable for media yet - after 6 years.

With VLC it is more obvious (still difficult to spot) but it rather looks like a vsync stutter then a fps problem. Not sure if my 75Hz panel changes here anything.

Wild guess, Kodi has - kind of vsync on, and others don't ?
