I have a tuner card on my RPI4, and I am running TV headend server to watch TV. Does it mean I will not be able to do it with LE10.0?
You still have the normal linux kernel drivers, just not the possibility to activate drivers for TBS.
Otherwise everything should work like normal.

Interestingly the vers=1.0 must be explicitly mentioned or the mount will fail.
SMB 1.0 is not activated ootb, so its no surprise that you need it

You could use gnome-disk-utility that is rather easy to use and works like a charm (includes compression).

Is it possible that LE x86_64 version ignores the vers= option? If so, how can that be changed?
I had similar problems at ubuntu, my systemd mount file was borked.
Iirc there are even differences in the order of the commands. So some commands do not work at the end.
If it works at smbclient it does not mean it works with systemd, it uses mount to do it.
You can check with the mount command what is actually done.

then have a look what is shown there at the path - pls post here maybe we can spot the problem

Not yet, the new graphic drivers interfere with the dvb drivers and its getting complicated very quick if we add them at this point.
Later LE versions (LE11) will likely include it again.

This way I can just create a Home screen shortcut.
this is working with basically every Skin besides the default skin, you need the ability to edit the startmenu, I am not 100% sure what needs to get added but I saw that already done
you need to manually start chrome and add another starting webpage - sounds easy but some bash is needed to make it work

why is my nightlies window system on an Intel NUC then "X11" (last updated yesterday) ?
because we have still X11 at our builds, we didn't switched yet, at the HDR images from SMP the change is included
