looks more like LE9, the last info i have is that they upstream the drivers to the kernel so that everything is working ootb - to create an self made patch from the current drivers is a bit out of scope from us due the not trivial size (+ a bit messy git repo
)
- at least we have a fresh DD patch for the moment (usermade) - if this patch fails (at kernel bump ...) we have to remove them - we have no intention to do the work for the manufacturers (if other ppl like to do it I have no problems with it - prs welcome
).

getting nightly TVH buildsas soon my new build root arrive

They should work (at least the drivers are in - maybe a fw is missing but this could be easily fixed if necessary), as always DVBSky S952 V3 or TBS6904 or similar are also nice alternatives with proper in kernel drivers (TBS should be soon in).

oh goush ... find the problem
anyone interested in bisecting curl ?nars maybe you open an issue at the curl tracker ? Issues · curl/curl · GitHub
its a bit useless to dig into it because we have too less understanding of the code -
If you can show me the change i could try it

Is transcoding with HW supported, like Intel QuickSync?no - Intel QuickSync is kind of giant mess
the new hero in town is vaapi encoding what is offered by ffmpeg 3.1
GitHub - lekma/tvheadend at codecs <- not yet ready -

Okay I see the same for me, so it is buggy Curl (oh surprise) or there are too many connections to tvh (i don't think so).
I use a extern Tvh server and got the same problem so it is not LE-Tvh build related. The easiest way to check for Curl problem is to update to a milhouse build and check if it is working there (I curently have no time to switch one of my test units).

I can reproduce same exact issuevery strang - this was just to be sure that it is nothing buggy with that picons
btw are the icons working normal if you click at tvh at the epg ?
Also I see you use 32bit png - maybe this is the problem ? (I uploaded the pictures converted to 8 bit)
8bit.rar this would explain why it works at windows and not art rpi (maybe)btw you need the latest build to have the debug feature build in in tvh build.mycvh.de - activate debug in addon settings and then deactivate/activate the addon to make it work

possible ... btw could you post the filename of a picon ? btw for what provider you use them ?
Also could you try the snp picons, maybe they work snp-full.220x132-220x132.light.on.transparent_2016-08-19--20-24-49.hardlink.tar.xz (place them in the picons/tvh folder and untick the "prefer picons over channel name" from the settings (from the first picture you posted) after that "reset icons" -
