can't really tell you something, pls try with card number "1" - at least the device id is listed for this number, but honestly no idea
I also found 26 a possible number (in some thread), you can check here 6.5. EM28xx cards list — Linux Media Subsystem Documentation documentation and try the numbers for em2820.Change number, reboot, also pls make sure that you try to disable and enable Tvh after you start it - maybe the device is slow and you need to check in the tvh settings wait for dvb device.
after boot do this
systemctl stop service.tvheadend42.service
systemctl start service.tvheadend42.service
then you can test it -
oh mixed something up .. ups
echo "options em28xx card=5" >/storage/.config/modprobe.d/em28xx.conf
it is em28xx and not em2820
pls change filename and options

The problem is you card didn't have an proper id so it won't be detected by default.
Here is a list of valid choices for the card=<n> insmod option: card=0 -> Unkno - Pastebin.comSo you have to set your card manual. I am not too sure how this works.
/storage/.config/modprobe.d/ create an file em2820.confin this file pls add
options em2820 card=5
or use this command from shell
echo "options em2820 card=5" >/storage/.config/modprobe.d/em2820.confif this is not working after reboot pls another dmesg
-
sorry for delay
could you pls post dmesg | paste -
media_build from the menu
-
media_build
-
You can also use my dvb builds (from my sig) and there you have to use the media_build drivers (backports the dvb drivers to old kernels) they are at LE 7.0.2
-
Yes I build something fresh. I have to redo "a lot" due some changes incoming. At the moment there is too much in progress to get something done what could be used onward (Kodi release date is heavily delayed).

I looked at your config and didn't found anything suspicious, it looks like its an driver problem at some transponder.
You could try (make backup) LE8 Alpha that has a much newer kernel and drivers. This could fix your problem. -
sry for seeing this a bit late, this is an AMLogic bug with synchronising, isn't fixed yet but known as a problem (someone is working at this)
-
the log tells that there are a lot transmission errors
could you check if the cable is maybe broken or loose ? Did you plug the power adaptor at the card ?
Btw the S952 is know as working really well (also with LE), not sure where is the actually problem. You could maybe upload your whole config ? (just zip the whole \\192.168.0.123\Userdata\addon_data\service.tvheadend42 folder at the networkshare from your box and upload it somewhere
pls remove that folders from that zip (they include "personal" infos)
accesscontrol, caclient, profile, xmltv
you can also remove the epgdb.v2 file -
okay if it is live then it is a bit different
if i convert your sample to mkv it works well at the WH (+hw) thats why i thought it is a recording problem - I ping kszaq
-
broken *ts recording like usual
(idk if this is an Tvh problem because i saw vdr ... too with the same problems)
use mkv for recording (or convert) and your are fineI guess you play a recording and not live tv (if i convert your sample to mkv everything plays fine, as *ts "we" have the same problem)
or you use ts-doctor - but better just use mkv
-
1. I have MiniMXIII S905 box, with kszaq's LE 7.0.2.007 build installed. That is not easily possible i have to build a whole image, but for Kodi 17 there are some problems that we can't use it at all (some AMLogic driver nonsense) - not sure this is fixable in the future till the point where AMLogic bumps their kernel.
-
Do you have connected both tuners or only one ?
-
The maintainer of the dvb-build of UnRAID is using your drivers.
yes I know him
you have to wait for a current version (this week) then it includes the latest media_build which backports the dvb drivers from latest Kernel (if not broken) -
I think E22TVH is NOT working wit Tvh 4.1.xxxx
