or use just 7za that works
Maybe we should just copy 7za and rename it to 7z for the addon.
7za is a stand-alone executable. 7za handles less archive formats than 7z, but does not need any others.
This works, somehow. You could have a look there , besides a lot crap packages he done it already.

You can share your work If you can/can't get it working
Running Chromium with Ozone-GBM on a GNU/Linux desktop
I guess this should work in future properly. Nobody likes to play around with X11 these days anymore
From the log you can see that it was properly installed but not working
This will not work, even if it works no video will work.
Its basically garbage, an 5 year old PC is already considered old in multimedia terms, but this sounds like an 13+ year old low end pc ;D
No hope, sry.
It doesn't work on Ubuntu either
same error ...
idk who is you vendor but pls ask him again to send some working driver
If you ticked "wait for network" you have basically done everything that is needed from OS side. If Kodi can't handle the mysql db for some reason even if the network is there then something else is very likely the problem.
You could check if you have an correct time directly at boot for example.
If it is a Kodi problem then you can't expect much help as MySQL db is not supported and nobody likes to fixes things there
is is possible that I fu up the patch - the tree is rather messy and has pre applied patches (wtf really)
you could try at ubuntu if it works there, if it also doesn't works there the driver is broken
some test version with "some" driver for that chip - no idea if this works but I guess you find it out
pls do an dmesg | paste or I can't help if it don't work
updated an additional RPi2/3 image to Index of /test/m88ds3103b/
MySQL db is a overall not supported feature from Kodi, it works for some ppl at LE for some not.
A lot ppl are using emby as backend these days and the "kodi for emby" addon. It works and offers everything an MySQL db has and a lot more.
Index of /test/m88ds3103b/ (currently only generic, rpi is building) <- Kernel 4.17 LE9 image with applied patch
!!!! pls do an dmesg | paste - without we have zero information of what was going wrong
I scrolled through the changes and I have no idea what they did here.
that is the patch (manually reverted the applied media_build patches) - looks too scary and messy but maybe it works, Iam doing an build
no problem, at least it is fixed
Is 4.3 alot better ?
just asked as at 4.3 was lately a bug that caused missing epg
pls check if you have epg at Tvh at all for that channels - if there are epg at Tvh you can rule out Tvh as problem
