NSXD We support native DSD for some audio interfaces, but it's limited on HDMI (PCM down-sampled, as described by you).
Please read those threads:
ThreadHow to use MPD for native DSD via USB DAC
I guess my question is even more general in that I have no idea how to use the MPD service add-on at all. Once installed, how do I utilize it?
For background, I posted this thread and was asked to repost my specific MPD question here Native DSD on Raspberry Pi
I know that native DSD via USB from a Raspberry Pi is possible, as VolumIO supports it. It is also my understanding that VolumIO is MPD based.
That's about where my understanding ends. I found this thread: Raspberry Pi 4 + LibreElec +…flizApril 5, 2024 at 6:07 PM ThreadRaspberry Pi 4 + LibreElec + Music Player Daemon + WavPack DSD
Hello!
I installed LibreElec 9.95.1 and mpd (as service addon) and found that when playing WavPack DSD files with a samplerate of more than 384 kHz, the sound is very interrupted. A search on the Internet did not give anything, the mpd settings also did not bring any result. And then I accidentally looked into:
mpd -V
— and found that it was built without native support for the WavPack format, that is, it decodes it using ffmpeg. And ffmpeg DOES NOT RECOGNIZE DSD compressed with WavPack.

Still trying to sort out TVheadend.
Please use our PVR & DVB Support for this.
TVHeadEnd also has an own forum:

Niceguy We do support for free in our spare time. We expect that users do some research by themselves. Use our search function (magnifier icon on top) and Google. We don't waste our time on lazy users.

install new drives i dont tryed to this point. but simply because i dont know how because libreelec is totaly different to distros i know.
is that the right instructions for installing new drivers? https://wiki.libreelec.tv/how-to/add-firmware or is there a better fitting one i dont know?
You need Windows to update the firmware. You can create a portable Windows USB stick, or install it beside LE (use GParted to create necessary partitions).
Warning: This procedure will take hours. Editing partitions requires care.
However, we already had a couple of users here, who fixed their HDMI problems by such firmware updates.

i switched back to the amlogic device with coreelec.
Thanks! Closed.

Install the Multimedia Tools add-on, and run alsamixer from SSH.

Makes sense. Is your firmware up-to-date? Some PC have firmware for the graphics chip, which is HDMI-related.

Probably not enough processing power for Full HD:

Try HD Ready.

LibreELEC Dual Boot
I'm trying to recover I have 2 partitons:
HD(0,7) label BOOT
HD(0,8) label Storage
I tried selecting a Linux and set the partitions, no success
I can not get it to boot libreelec however I get an error message /vmlinuz not found when I select a standard linux and can not figure out how to edit the grub config using grub2win
So I'm reasonable sure I need a customized config, however I've not been able to fine a good example I'm running the latest stable build of libreelec currently and it worked…egandtJune 9, 2020 at 10:55 PM -
It's a VC4 graphics driver option. It has a dependency, because codecs are higher level on the stack.

Thread[RPi5] How to set RGB Full in LE12?
Hi,
It's been a week now that I search the forum and the web for a solution to my problem. I have a new LG OLED TV and a new RPI5 on which I have installed LE12. I need to set it to full RGB in order to get the perfect image quality (on my old NUC i3 11 with LE10, I managed to have FULL RGB and I can compare). I have deactivated "limited" in kodi - system - display, I have tried "boot=UUID=2504-0815 disk=UUID=9f7b1397-4586-452d-a897-b3f9f95035f5 quiet console=ttyAMA10,115200 console=tty0…agabreanJune 10, 2024 at 9:16 AM -
I bet it's only the buttons with TV AND Kodi functions, and you don't have any trouble with the color buttons, right?
So TV has higher CEC priority at some Kodi states. If you really need a fix, ask the developer of CEC Adapter at Kodi forum.
-
Disable all screensaver-related settings at CEC adapter.
When I turn off the TV while Kodi still on, then CEC still works after turning on the TV again. Do you lose all CEC functions on that procedure, or only the customized buttons?
-
At CEC adapter settings: When the TV is switched off: Ignore.
-
When i power off the rpi5 with the menu in LE, the TV powers off too but the AV receiver not.
Click at Settings -> System -> Input -> Peripherals -> CEC Adapter to setup the AVR behavior.

ThreadNo audio on a mini PC
Hello,
New to the forums, hello again!
Right, so I've got a HP Prodesk 400 G4,
Intel i3 8100
UHD 630
I have a really weird issue, where the audio will come out of the inbuilt speaker, but will not route through to my TV.
I'm having to use a DP to HDMI adapter, which does route audio through on my main PC, just not with Libreelec for some reason.
I've done some digging, but cannot figure out how to get it to route the audio through, I've tried the EDID config, tried a patch I found on here, with…boostedvtakSeptember 14, 2023 at 11:08 PM
