I mean this menu: Settings -> System -> Input -> Peripherals -> CEC Adapter.
Set Action when switching to another source to None.

Follow the advice of bubblegum57 . It's such a complex topic that trial-and-error is your best choice. We also can't predict the future of Linux kernel drivers.

At the CEC adapter settings set the HDMI signal to "always on". The default setting is to switch HDMI off when your TV uses a different source.

I currently don't have YT installed. Can you have a look at YT resolution settings? Maybe a high resolution has to be scaled down. Make sure LE and YT are using the same resolution.

Please provide a link to a complete kodi.log. No more text screenshots.
Explain the usage of OSCam.

I never heard about such error, so my first guess is a broken microSD. TTY is a basic service that shouldn't fail on any setup.
PS: At your last thread the screenshot says ttyd starts OK. Is it solved now?

The official answer is no. Read here for details.

Depends on the software you want to install. You know that add-ons are the usual way. Actually you don't need to install software for your purpose. You can remotely shutdown a Linux by SSH, google it.

I don't see any relation to LE. If your fear power outages, then better ask one of those prepper boards.

MCE remotes work fine, too. Maybe you already have one of those, because some notebooks had it as a package goody.

If your computer display is lower than 4k, then check your HDMI cable. Maybe CEC and sound transmission suffers due to a slow HDMI cable. Make sure your cable is HDMI 2.0 or 2.1 standard to be conform to 4K.

Use our forum search function with keyword "hdmi_enable_4kp60=1".

Make sure your HDMI cable is HDMI 2.0 or 2.1 standard. That's necessary to transmit high data rate at 4K.

Most people prefer to use the TV remote control in combination with CEC. Then the TV will transmit RC signals over HDMI cable to the RPi. On the TV side it may be necessary to activate CEC at first. On the RPi side it's activated by default.
Try to find the CEC settings on the TV. Sometimes CEC has different names, like "Viera Link" for Panasonic etc. That's the most comfortable solution for your parents.

At some older TV's it's necessary to enforce an HDMI mode at config.txt. Add this lines for 1080p at 60Hz:
Read here about the complete list of available HDMI modes.
