Use Milhouse builds for now. There is no such issue in his builds.
As these Milhouse builds are now in Beta, this specific issue is going to get fixed in stable versions of Libreelec 9.0?
Display MoreThis build does not play DVDs (VIDEO_TS folders).
I came across this issue when building my own RPi2 images from current LE master. I used Ubuntu 16.04 as a build host.
There are 2 ways to fix this:
- do not enable LTO for building Kodi
or
- build in Ubuntu 17.10 or 18.04.
Nice, is this going to get fixed in future builds? I miss my Godfather Collection...
Does anyone have problems playing/stream video_ts files (DVD rips from NAS). They will not play. Where do I have to look in settings? I do not think ist a bug...
Which build will the LibreELEC community recommend? Milhouse Leia builds?
What about GB RAM and GB SSD? Any recommendations? Thank you.

Maybe Milhouse build KODI Leia builds... I would like to have this answered myself before I get me one of those.
Is this recommandable as a HTPC? Which build should one install? Milhouse builds (Leia)?
Will it work out of the box? IR remote, reboot issues etc.?
Well, update to latest Milhouse build solved the problem.
The log file is supposed to be a debug log file. I tried to reproduce an error, when playing any video or tv show. There is only sound a couple of seconds and no video at all.
Hi everybody
Before I make a new install. I want to her someones opinion about that:
Thanks.
Can I just install the addon and expect working blu ray?
no, you need to follow these instructions:
showthread.php?tid=30333&pid=83380#pid83380
Get a new license key from here: www.makemkv.com • View topic - MakeMKV is free while in beta
Does anyone had luck to activate the subtitles? You can choose them from the menu, but they will not show...
OK: Should have activated subtitles.
Let me know if you get it working with a BD player. I don't have one so I haven't actually tested it.
It works with extern BD player. You have to point KODI to the BDMV folder and play it (works flawless). To play the disk from root will not work (it reads the stream to slow). I do not think the addon makemkvbluray (from X-Dark) is needed. Just the makemkv addon and the settings.conf (with key) file in the .MakeMKV folder. Thanks.
ok i get it to work i have now the newest makemkv 1.10.6 i compiled it on my linuxserver and installed the zip file, i add and change some files and now
every BD plays very very good great picture great sound no fragments
thx to escalade
i use your git 8.1 for compiling the addon makemkv on my linux server
i am so happy after 7 days i get it to work
How do you compile it. Can someone post this addon as a .zip file, please?
Hi I am getting Aw Snap! Error from within Chromium browser when I try to load Netflix.com.
I am using latest Alpha 10.
chromium needs to be updated, however HW accell seems to be broken in the new version.
For those that want a test build there is one here, browser.chromium-8.0.104.zip
This will only work on the latest Alpha (7.90.008)
That worked, thanks.
