have you tried Generic 7.90.009 - with working TBS drivers + T230C (TBS-CC) ?
Yes, no way: AVGD.
And in-kernel drivers should work anyway..
OK. Will try compile the drivers myself, will see.
Thank you

current stuff to test:
Generic 7.90.009 - without extra drivers
Unfortunately, even Generic driver doesn't work: cHCN
So, if you build it right, it seems like regression in new kernel..
CvH, yep, think it should be alright. Thanks
So for now a working Version (pre 010) and the drivers installed via media_build (this should work) - NVIDIA also fixed in this version
Generic Generic 7.90.009-TBS-0.4
No, it doesn't work either for T230: JXdK
CvH, could you please build with just plain-kernel drivers(no TBS, media_build stuff, etc.) and apply only mentioned patches on top, so I could test if it is the kernel regression or not with T230?
current versions to test:
Generic: LE 7.90.009 TBS image 0.3
Doesn't work
KNDK
Could we go another way? You build in-kernel drivers with only one patch applied: dvb-usb-cxusb: Geniatech T230 - resync TS FIFO after lock - Patchwork
Should be anougth for T230 proper work. I'll test then. This way we narrow down problem
CvH, do you mean build for tbs5922se or more general build broken? Is it worth trying for T230?
It could be useful on debugging stage - at least until people confirm that most common dvb adapters work..
It's not quite convenient to upgrade through ssh, etc. when the images follows one-by-one frequently, as now..
I'll try it in the evening, thank you CvH.
As a thought, LibreELEC has something about Custom update channel to be added in the LibreELEC configuration addon.
I wonder if we could setup such channel for pulling your builds..
not working T230C should be fixed now! (added 0.2 to filename)
Generic: LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-7.90.009-4.9.0-TBS-T230C-0.2.img.gz
Doesn't work either - dvb adapter absent:
CYeZ
UPDATE:
after running this image, the T230 dongle needs power-reset cycle to return to the working state on previous 008 image. No way to make it working on this 009 image anyway.. Something seriously broken. CvH, could you provide the sources with your changes?
in system, along the bottom where you have Settings, File Manager, Libreelec etc etc, one of them should say dvb drivers or something like that.
if you don't see it, you may have used wrong image i guess?
snailboy1
Yes, I don't see dvb drivers addon in this image:
What image did you use?
[hr]
Some LE 7.90.009 (Kodi 17 Beta 6) testfiles
....
Just install/Update (!! do backups !!), nothing to select or configure !
CvH,
does it mean there is no dvb drivers addon?
works for me using CvH build - 7.0.2 with dvb-c
i had to go to the dvb drivers option and choose media_build, otherwise i got insane continuity errors.
Thanks snailboy1,
how do I get to there? Can't find the dvb driver's option addon in previous location when it was a separate icon in Settings screen..
Yea pls try it (make backup if it won't help).
It's all the same
Has anyone been able to use T230 with this build on x86_64?
And what about Dvb drivers configuration addon? Is it gone?
no it should work of course, is it the T230 or the T230C ?
It's T230 as seen in the log.
Also I can't find DVB configuration tool which is present in previous 008 alpha. Can it be the reason?
Should I make soft reset, or something?
Thanks.
Magica T230 dvb-t2 adapter is not working with this release. Is it intended? Can't find drivers configuration addon..
Log:
GXDT
Is upgrade through the GUI possible?
If not, should we use this image for the upgrade? Can't find link to it in LibreELEC (unofficial) Kodi builds for additional DVB Drivers
For me this Alpha build works too, T230 problems are more or less solved. Thanks!
Thanks! Will try it then)
UPDATE:
hope I understand right that crazycat69/linux_media includes both T230(C) drivers
ljalves-cc includes a driver for T230C, the T230 is already supported by the normal LE build.
Yes, it does, but I need CrasyCats ones - mainstream drivers are buggy for me, but CC proven fine..
