in between I decided to combine my Hifiberry Digi2pro HW2.1 with a RPi3B and it is reliable detected on every boot.

The interesting thing is, I got it only running with the settings below in the config.txt:

force_eeprom_read=0
dtoverlay=hifiberry-digi-pro

but not with:

force_eeprom_read=0
dtoverlay=hifiberry-digi

Nevertheless, many thanks to all, who spend their time to help me.

Of course Hifiberry says my HAT is iincompatible with newer RPis and I shall buy a new one.

Is there another way to get it relayable running the my current one with a RPi4?

Hi Hias,

I have a Digi2-Pro HW 2.1. What means, it's a hardware issue, if I understand correctly.

Asked for a replacement board.

First line was commented and I activated it.

Second line was like this and I keep it:

dtoverlay=hifiberry-digi-pro

Now I have updated to LE 12.2.1 but the issue unfortunately still remains.

Ooh sorry, when the issue occurred the first time 12.2.0 was the newest and I haven't recognized, that there is a newer one in between. I will update my device and check afterwards.

I run LE12.2.0 on a RPi4 with a Hifiberry DigiPro. When I switched on the system, after it was off for a day or longer the DigiPro is not found during the start. To get it running again, I have to shutdown LE and switch off and on the power supply. A simple restart of the system is not enough. Any idea how I can avoid this problem?

it needs some time, but now I found the root cause and the Digi-pro is running!

And to my shame it was so simple at least, that I'm a little bit anoyed of my stupidity. It was a mechanical thing, means I haven't mounted the HAT deep enough on the GPIO plug, what I didn't recognized, because I put all together in a self adapted case and the assembly wasn't easy at all and I don't wanted to dismount again.

So, thanks to all, which tried to help me and hope they are not to angry wasting there time.

I tested my board at least with the HifiberryOS and

aplay -l

gives back:

So my board seems to work at all and is not broken as I thought before. What I don't understand, that it is rcognized as "HifiBerry DAC" not as Digi2-Pro. And of cause, why it doesn't work with LE.

in between I use LE 11.0.3 and the hifiberry Digi2-Pro is still not recognized. I use RPi4B HW V1.4 and Digi2-Pro HW V2.1 which should be compatible, if I understand the blog from Hifiberry correctly.

Any ideas what I can do to get the board working?

I have a RP4B and a original Hifiberry Digi2pro HW2.1 used with LE 10.0.3.

I tried first

dtoverlay=hifiberry-digi-pro

in the config.txt as printed on the HAT

then I used

dtoverlay=hifiberry-digi

as decribed here Digi2-pro not found

Unfortunately in both cases, it doesn't appear in the system->audio settings.

Any suggestions what the cause is?

Thanks, that's what I hoped it is. So I have not to search for a problem on my side, which not exist.

as Gerri83, I don't get displayed the current version 10.0.2 in the available versions. I know, how to update over the command line, but I'm curious to know, if it is an issue on my side or are the updates not available on the GUI yet?

Hi Joe,

I configured hr1 on 11494H as well on 10891.25H.

The longer I think of it, maybe I did something wrong on tvheadend server side. It's long time ago, I worked on it last time. Do I have to activate the change. I can't remember unfortunately.

thanks for your comment, but my problem is not the support for RDS. My issue is, that I can't play it. Has somebody the some point and solved it?

Hi,

I use a RPi3B+ with LibreElec 9.2.8. Since yesterday, the old transponder on ASTRA satelite for different ARD radio channels is disabled. It just plays the hint, that I have to use the new transponder, which uses AAC encoded streams. So I started reconfiguring my external TVHeadend to provide the streams from the new Transponder. Unfortunately I can't get working. I was looking for an additional audio decoder, but doesn't found one providing AAC. So I suppose it is included in the standard ffmpeg decoder. Right?

Does anybody have an idea, what I could looking for?
