sky42: thanks for your help! I tried both builds, but unfortunately it still does not boot. I tried booting live system from usb stick.
Here a photo of my tv. Waited several minutes, but nothing happened after this:

You could try escalades AVX build:
LE8 "Remix" (Generic/RPi) Emulationstation/Chrome/Spotify PROVIDE LOGS IF PROBLEMS
Seems that I need to build the image myself. But I have no other Unix System to run the build

sky42: thx, but still not working with this build. xorg says gpu not supported
-
chewitt: after following your instructions, I still became the same error when using systemctl hibernate
QuoteFailed to hibernate system via logind: Sleep verb not supported
Found in Google that Secure Boot in Bios might cause the problem, but it is disabled

Can somebody confirm that creating a swap file will enable hibernate mode in libre elec?

anyone who checked out a fresh milhuse build with ryzen apu?

Hi there,
I'm using a HTPC with Ryzen processor and LibreElec 8.2.5 (Generic.x86_64)
I can add HIbernate Shortcut to the Power Menu, but it will not appear.
Also using 'systemctl hibernate' over ssh is not working.
It says:Failed to hibernate system via logind: Sleep verb not supported
I need to have a Hibernate Mode because this is the only way to wake up my HTPC over USB IR. Suspend will not work because Power LED is blinking all the time.

In 8.1.7 you can enable suspend/sleep mode manually:
- Go to \\Configfiles\sleep.conf.d (in Windows) or /storage/.config/sleep.conf.d (over SSH).
- Rename sleep.conf.sample to sleep.conf
- Open sleep.conf and remove this line: SuspendMode=false
- Reboot, enjoy.
using 8.2.5 i can't find a sleep.conf.sample in any folder of my x86 version. is there another way to enable hibernate mode?
edit: oh looks like the wrong thread for this question

built a Ryzen 2200G system today. Installing LibreElec is failing... It says "Failed to start xorg Is you GPU supported?"
What can i do?
