Hello,
Works absolutely great with my several Beelink GT1 Ultimate (LPN) and his clone Dealdig BoxD6. Very very good work.
Wish I could have such great combi kernel/dtb on Manjaro Arm to use one of them as a little linux server (Home assistant, klipper...)
Thank you again and kind regards,

Thank you chewitt for the informations.
This X96Max_Plus2 TV-box works already great as a client for a tvheadend server running on an quiet old now ARM-Dockstar. I'm going to try the libreelec tvheadend server v4.2.
Thanks again for the good job you're doing.

It's exciting running LE on amlogic with recent kernel and panfrost. Thanks to the devs and particularly chewitt.
I'm able to run LibreELEC (chewitt): 10.80.0 (AMLGX.arm) on a X96 Max+ 2GB real (fake 4GB) identified on Android as X96Max_Plus2_20201210-1638.
On android the default dtb is sm1_ac213_2g.dtb.
On LE, it runs better with dtb_name=/dtb/meson-sm1-x96-air-1000.dtb, Ethernet, sound, USB2 & 3, remote works but neither Bluetooth nor WiFi.
If someone has this type of box and succeeded to set WiFi, I'd be glad to know how.

Martin has been implementing the HDMI driver and audio support. There is progress, but it's slow progress. `Development reached the point where some of the retro-gaming distros which don't have such a dependency on audio/video things are now using the upstream codebase.
Very exciting. Thanks.

First, I'd like to thank the devs for Libreelec is an impressive work.
I'm in the same case as above, I use an Odroid C2 in 4K with Hifi Shield 2
I also use TVHeadend client because two DVBT2 USB stick are plugged on an Armv5 Dockstar running TVHeadEnd server
And it works great.
But the sound on my XMOS USB Audio transport (April STELLO U3) on Odroid C2 is poor even if it's not immediately obvious.
So I bought an Hifi Shield 2 and tryed it. The sound is really superb with Volumio. The HiFi Shield 2 works also on diet-pi and Ubuntu. But it needs some kernel modules that are not available with LibreElec kernel for Odroid-C2 (based on Android C2 kernel ?):
- "aml_i2c"
- "snd-soc-pcm512x"
- "snd-soc-pcm512x-i2c"
- "snd-soc-odroid-dac2"
Will the future versions have these modules for C2 build version and the easy script to install everything?
It would be awesome.
