Hello,
currently, I am using LibreELEC 9.95.4 with KODI 19.1.0 Matrix. I had playback problems with Amazon VOD Plugin and tried to reinstall it, but I ad always dependency problems with script.module.mechanicalsoup.
This is what I did:
Step 1: Under Settings / System / Addons: Removed all orphaned dependecies
=> Still depency problems with mechanicalsoup
Step 2: Remove mechanicalsoup from file system and downloaded it manually from repo as zip and installed it
=> Problems with dependency to script.module.pyautogui
Step 3: Download script.module.pyautogui manually from repo as zip and try to install it
=> Problem with dependency to xbmc.python in Version 2.25.0
Please find attached my debug log, while I try to install from repository.sandmann79-py3.plugins-1.0.0-matrix repo.
Now I don't have any new ideas ;-/ Anybody knows what to do now?
Thank you very much in advance!

Oh my god thank you!! That was the problem, it was set to Auto and obviously, Samsung has problems with "automatic detection".
I set it now fixed to low, and now it looks always the same.
You made my day smp!

Hey guys.. I need your help..
This is my Setup:
LibreELEC 9.2.6 installed on an Intel NUC7i3BNK, which is connected via HDMI to a Samsung Q90R TV.
When KODI has booted and main menu is shown, everything looks brilliant, deep black color how expected.
As soon as I playback an offline video file (no matter if Full HD 8 Bit or 4K 10 Bit HDR Material) -> immediately deep black turnes into a grey tone.
Everything becomes lighter, and black becomes dark grey... disgusting
When I stop playing the file (even after just a few seconds), the menu looks differnt. I attached a before/after picture of my TV.
Just a reboot of the PC or a disconnect/reconnect of the HDMI switches back to original dark colors.
Additional hit: In System / Display settings I can enable/disable limited color range (16 -238),.. no matter whether it is enabled or disabled, the problem persists:
- limited range disabled (0-255): black becomes dark grey
- limited range enabled (16-238): dark grey becomes lighter grey.
I created some detailed debug logs:
- Playback and Stop of an mp4 in h264 with 8 Bit and 1080p
- Playback and Stop of an mkv with HEVC, 10 Bit HDR and 4K
- HDMI Reconnect, which resolves the problem
Any ideas? -
I am reworking Librespot and I would like some feedback.
Thank you very much in advance for all the new features.
I am using Librespot on a Intel NUC and the Movie/TV-Show Audio shall be output to HDMI (default KODI Setting).
But the Librespot Audio shall be routed to 3,5mm Audio Jack (alsa).
At the moment, I manuall change the settings in the service file:
--backend alsa \
--device front:CARD=PCH,DEV=0 \
But after each Librespot Update, the changes are lost.
Request:
Please provide a GUI Setting for Audio routing / playback device. That would be awesome

Okay, I installed version 119 successfully. My goal is like in former times:
- Default Playback device for KODI is HDMI (KODI Audio Settings)
- Librespot Playback device device shall be analog stereo out
The setting is not available any more in librespot. What can I do now?
Edit: Done!
/.kodi/addons/service.librespot/bin/librespot.start
=> edit backend and device
Works awesome!! Thank you

Generic... Intel NUC8

LibreElec 9.2 release

When will 119 be available? Where can I find it?
-
go to addondata folder and delete service.libreelec.settings and reboot..
Probably not the neatest way of fixing it but should work..
This way.. not the neatest way of fixing, but it DID work

Hi,
ich have two different LibreELEC PCs running. Both are Updated to late release. For a few days, I have the same problem on both instances: When I want to enter LibreELEC Addon, there is a message "LibreELEC settings locked - Enter PIN". I have never set any PIN and have no idea, what is the correct PIN. I tried several default pins, but no way...
Please don't get me wrong: This is NOT a Kodi Master Password.. the master password is disabled on both PCs.
Can you help me? I have no chance to enter the addon any more

Does anybody here have an idea regarding this thread?
Librespot + LibreELEC 9.1.002 -> Change Playback audio device
-
-
Hi,
before updating LibreELEC to 9.1.002, there was a configuration item inside librespot addon to configure the audio playback device (independently from default audio device of KODI):
Default Audio Out = HDMI (for video media playback on TV)
Librespot Audio Out = Analog Audio Device (for Spotify music to stereo system)
Not this configuration item has disappeared in Librespot
Currently the system starts the plugin with these paramters:
Codelibrespot --backend pulseaudio --cache /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.librespot/cache --device-type TV --disable-audio-cache --name Kodi (HTPC) --notify-kodi --disable-discovery
If I try to change the backend to "alsa" to select hw:0,0 card (stereo audio), I get the message "invalid backend".
Do you have an Idea how to route audio to analog audio out?
