resoved... I did let both the Server and the x86 client run for a few hours and now it works again. It looks like the updated did change something on the database, and due to the size this took quite a while

hi, maybe someone of the pros here in the forum can help me.
I have an x86 kodi installation which i upgraded from 9.2.1 to 9.2.2 just yesteday.
All my films (>4000) as well as the mariadb database are stored on a nas (win10 based).
Now, after the upgrade, the library view of the films seems to be still ok.
But when i use the folder view (which is my default to not have to browse the full lib all the time), all the library parts are missing - no cover, no info, no option to filter by watched state, not even an option to include a new film into library (by selecting info). The watched state itself shows next to the film title. I also can't change the view (cover, ...), it justs shows the (default?) list.
I tried as well with a second client on a firetv stick which rarely use, same situation. So the issue seems to be within the database (which i didn't back up before the upgrade, shame on me)
Any hints?
Best regards, reinhard

unfortunately, no improvement.
i kind of doubt that the issue comes with the network itself, it's wired 1gb lan and worked well with same settings under 8.2.5
also, the wakeonlan crashes kodi/libreelec9 independently whether the server is up and running or hibernating. fyi, the magic packet doesn't make it to the server, seems to crash before sending...

here we go:
Code
Display More<onaccesswakeup> <netinittimeout>20</netinittimeout> <netsettletime>500</netsettletime> <wakeup> <host>ServCel</host> <mac>90:1B:0E:B9:5F:F0</mac> <pingport>0</pingport> <pingmode>0</pingmode> <timeout>300</timeout> <waitonline>40</waitonline> <waitonline2>40</waitonline2> <waitservices>5</waitservices> </wakeup> </onaccesswakeup>
I just double-checked, it's the very same content I had in my (working) 8.2.5 file (did a backup before the upgrade)

I have to admit i didn't fully understand how to submit via pastebin. (First time to submit a log for me)
But I created the log with debug enabled &followed the instructions from the wiki page link you provided and got this short url:
This holds the full debug log (i hope).
“Luckily“ the crash is 100% reproducable...

i also just upgraded to le9 with shared library
found out that it crashes when wakeonlan.xml is used to start my data server on access.
maybe you have a similar issue...

i need to try this when i find the time, probably next weekend... that would be awesome

Hi,
I just upgraded to LE9 (from LE8.2.5, still with external media files & mysql database on a remote server) and it constantly crashes on startup and reboots into the "safe config"
After some unfruitful trials, I did reset LE9 to default and finally brought the system to life.
By turning on 1 by 1 my addons, settings, library connection, I was able to find te root cause for the startup crash.
As soon as I turn on the "try to waekeup remote servers on access" option in power savings, and reboot, it crashes on startup. this behavior is repeatable.
renaming the wakeonlan.xml file into .dontuse -> no more crash, everything works again. (well, except media access if the server goes to sleep)
Any idea what's going wrong?
As I saw some other posts where people reported trouble with shared libraries, maybe this helps the one ore the other to debug as well.

Not the preferred answer, but after my google search fail kind of what i expected...

Hi,
I'd like to thin out my home IT a bit and therefore I'd like to go from my shared sql database back to a local one.
Is there a way to import the data with watched state, info, covers... without havin to scrape everything again???
Any hint would be highly appreciated!

i'm sitting in germany and bought from mindfactory.de

yes, this part seems to work much better than with apollo lake boards. i did just a few basic tests though because of my other issues...
one thing, it was very important to have my A/V on before turning on the board. otherwise it defaults back to spdif and needs to be changed manually...
