    Omega 12.0.1:

I have the browser launcher installed, but I cannot find the Chrome browser or the Firefox browser. All information that I see on the 'Net point to srp.nu to get a browser. I am confused at this point. Yes, I have widevine installed. When I put http://srp.nu in the file manager nothing is available. Can someone help out this old man?

    TIA - Mark

    Omega 12.0.1.

I typed in the url of a repo (yes, correct spelling) and I could not do anything with the url. I tried to delete it from file manager like I normally do, but it will not remove. It is odd that the characters are yellow, not white. What can I do to remove the url? Is there someplace in the files that I can get to via ssh?

I do not think this is critical, but annoying.

    TIA - Mark

I have installed PM4K on LibreELEC but the user interface is much different than the interface on Windows PCs. I have no side bar, no connection to Plex.tv no request to sign in with my Plex userid & password. I have the Plex Media Server on my Synology NAS (DS220+).

What the heck am I doing wrong?

    TIA - Mark

Oh, in my /Userdata/addon_data/script.plexmod/settings.xml these settings are set to "Null" or "False":

<setting id="myplex.MyPlexAccount" default="true">{"ID": null, "title": null, "username": null, "email": null, "authToken": null, "pin": null, "isPlexPass": false, "isManaged": false, "isAdmin": true, "isSecure": false, "adminHasPlexPass": false, "thumb": "https://plex.tv/users/7dbb7e884e666ea5/avatar?c=1717264512", "homeUsers": [], "lastHomeUserUpdate": null}</setting>

Are you running the Plex server on the same machine?
PM4K worked fine for me until i ditched my dedicated plex server and merged it into my LibreELEC machine. The Plex server seems to be working fine, but PM4K got all weird and the interface is all blurry, grey and flickering. Except for the settings menu, in there it's all normal. It's the same on my PM4K on my RPi5 and the same on another RPi4 thats located at another place.

I don't think it's the addon that does this, since it worked fine before i merged the plex server into my LibreELEC device. I have of course reinstalled the addon multiple times without any luck.

But it would be interesting to hear if anyone else has this issue while running Plex server on the LibreELEC and also the PM4K client on the same machine.

I'm just a novice and I have no experience with the Pi5, but it seems that you are asking for a lot of transcoding on one computer. I am probably incorrect, but maybe more experienced folks can chime in.

PS: I would keep the server and clients on different machines.

I realize that this is not really a LibreELEC issue, but the Plex client does not work with LibreELEC 10.0.4 (PI 4) trying to connect to my Plex Media Server on my Synology NAS. Someone mentioned that they were able to connect using Raspberry PI OS. I have been unsuccessful installing Plex Client on Raspberry PI OS (Total Failue). Maybe I am going down the wrong path.

    Maybe my configuration should be:

Raspberry PI OS --> Kodi --> Plex Client (?)

    Thanks in advance,

    Mark

As some of you might know, that on the PI (3+4), the PLEX client and other addons do not work. PLEX continued to show three dots and nothing else, the NOAA Weather addon did not accept my Lat and Lon. I went back to 19.5 (Nexus) and everything cleared up. Just my $.02. IHTH

I just upgraded my Pi 3+ from Kodi 17.6 to 18.2 and I have lost 802.11ac using the Pi built-in wireless. I have a USB dongle that will connect to the ac network, but that is not my end game. Also, 18.2 doesn't even see the 5Ghz network in "Connections" using the built-in wireless but the 5Ghz will display using the dongle. Did I forget to do something?

Got the same problem on my NUC. The video calibration is lost on reboot, didn't have this problem on 8.2.5. Has anyone found a solution for this problem?

*Edit* If i set the refresh rate of the GUI to 50 FPS instead of 60, it seems to not be reset on reboot.

*Edit2* Spoke to soon. Still resets...

Ditto on the problem. I have a NUC (DCP847SKE to be specific). I'm going through a Pioneer A/V receiver. The receiver shouldn't be the issue. LibreELEC 9.0.0. I went back to my old LibreELEC for the time being. Too much wasted time getting things back in order again.

Just as the title says. Streaming videos do not work, either online from the 'net or off of my NAS (Synology 212J). Many errors with many addons (ie. Backup), errors with NFS accessing my NAS. I went back to OpenElec 8.0.x and no problems. (I suspect some issues with Python since the Logs always address Python).

Yes, I did upgrade my Intel NUC BIOS to 11/2017, and that did not make a difference. I know that you need to consider many hardware platforms, so I can understand. It is unfortunate that my Intel NUC doesn't play well with LibreELEC. :(

PS: If you want some logs, I guess I could go back to LibreELEC but I don't want to re-create my database and configuration again. It was very frustrating, especially since I would like to keep my Raspberry PIs and the NUC on the same OS.
