That sounds exactly like the Beelink minimxiii ii, other than the remote . it comes with 1000Mbps LAN and ac wifi.
Please give a link where I can buy that! I haven't find ANY S905X box with gigabit LAN...

S905X is a little bit faster. At least My MINI M8S II faster then my MINI MX ver 1.0.
My opinion is:
- Amlogic S905X (because VP9 and HDR)
- 2gb RAM
- 8GB Flash (keep the cost low, cheaper then 16GB and it doesn't need that much for a media player)
- 1 Gig Ethernet (important! there is no S905X with gigabit LAN on the market)
- ac wifi for those who don't want to bother with cables (maybe it could be an optional part to keep cost down)
- sd card slot or make sure it could boot from USB
- minimum 2 USB slot (but 3-4 would be better)
- noiseless remote (I hate that cheap clicking ones like MINI MX's remote) with dedicated play/pause, stop, ff, rw buttons
If you make this hardware it will immediately work with existing LE software
My first S905X Chip box arrived today - (C) by kostaman - and it works like a charm.
It is a MINI M8S II, 2GB/16GB, S905X box very similar to MINI MX or MINI MX-G.
The remote is way better (more (soft rubber) button with no clicking sound)
The tooth pick method worked to install the latest developer LE.
Everything work: Auto framerate, HD audio, 4k playback, you name it.
The android ROM version is 107 (2016.10.22)
I can't get my browser to connect to the downloads page. Is there something wrong with the page?
It's down right now.
Be aware the advancedsettings.xml options for caching have changed name in Kodi 17: HOW-TO:Modify the video cache - Official Kodi WikiIf you don't update your advancedsettings.xml when switching to Kodi 17 you wont have any non-default caching options.
Kodi 17?
And restart work at you?
Yes, reboot and reboot to nand works fine.
I used to have a MiniMX but it blew down, I can't test on the same device. On the other hand, this devel build boots just fine on my WeTel Hub.
It boots on MINI MX-G from SD card.
What is the hifiberry purpose in your system?
You can send 5.1 digital audio through HDMI cable: RPI3 -> HDMI -> soundbar -> HDMI -> tv.
With this setup you can get also multichannel and HD audio, not only DD and DTS.
One more change that you are able to notice: you can now play Jellyfish test videos up to 400Mbps.
I've just tested this last development build and the hevc and especially the hevc 10 bit videos play much better but unfortunately an old bug reintroduced in h264 playing.
This new build allows me to play even the 400Mbit jf video (its like a slow motion play but drop:0 skip:0)
I was very excited with the jellyfish test files, but when I tried to play the 4K_HD.Club_Showreel-2013-100mbps.mp4 (h264) video it stops every 1-2 seconds for a moment (the same file plays fine with LE007). Similar problem was in the first LE006 version too.
Maybe just a myself-reminder. but I have saved a gist with the udev rules needed for letting my LE box to autoswitch the output audio device on bluetooth connected device. The outcome is:
BT connected -> pulse active (A2DP output)
BT connected -> alsa active (HDMI output)Feel free to comment or suggest improvements.
What is the purpose of this? How the pulse and alsa can active together? Why the HDMI output when BT connected?
Just to clarify this:
Rufus CAN write .img.gz without unpacking it
Win32diskimager CAN NOT write the .img.gz you have to unpack the .img file first.
If you are worrying to brick your box with LE install just simply don't do it.
How device tree did you use for libreelec ? gxbb_p200_2G_beelink_minimxIII.dtb or gxbb_p200_2G_1Gbit.dtb ?
Thank You
The second one.
You need to change the keymap.
If you look at the default keymap (usr/share/kodi/system/keymaps/keyboard.xml) you'll see
<power>XBMC.Suspend()</power>So make a new keymap.xml, stick it in storage/.kodi/userdata/keymaps.
That should then follow whatever you set in kodi system settings.Edit: kszaq has said he'll change the default to XBMC.Shutdown so I guess if you just wait for the next update this will fix itself.
Thank you. It's working.
I've tested the latest testbuild (09.25 2.) and I noticed that the device go to suspend (and come back) with the remote power button.
This is a good news I guess but unfortunately the power button on the remote doesn't follow the power button setting, doesnt matter what I set (Power off or Suspend) it always works as suspend.
So now there is no one button power off but you have to choose the power menu first and then power off from the submenu.
Anybody noticed that suspend works in the second test build (09.25)?
But unfortunately the remote power button also just suspend not power off, and the settings menu doesn't change its behaviour at all.
I tested this version all day long today, watched several movies and youtube videos and the CEC worked flawlessly all the time.
