Well i don't like slow hardware at all :). So an Odroid isn´t an option for me. I like the x86 hardware and so i like the NUC´s. They are small, and nice looking.

If i get you right you would recommend me to wait for a new NUC generation, right? I don´t wanna rebuy in a few months just to be able play 10Bit HEVC then. The new NUC should be capable for the next years to come.

Well im not talking about magic, i just thought that there maybe is something happening in the kernel that could make this happen.

Im on 100% CPU when watching this kind of content at the moment and i don´t want to buy new hardware just because of this.

since i have updated to 7.9.06 i can not update my addons from this repo, but i can´t find any message from them that their servers are down or anything like that.

Just a quick note to this. I have had the possibility to test it again with a new device and that one worked out of the box.
So:
/sys/module/usbcore/parameters/autosuspend
is already set to -1 on default, i have made a 0 of it and will try it again this evening.

Im trying to run a M2TECH HiFace Two with LibreElec 7.9.03 on my NUC (DN2820FYHK).

The problem now is that LE detects the card properly at first and i have sound for about 5 to 10 seconds. After that it suddendly stops and does not come back again. I have to plug it out and in again in order to make it work for the next 10 seconds. Of course i changed the audio out in LE first to the HiFace.
I have absolutely no idea why this happens, so i´ve created a debug.log:

ich wollte meinen NUC (DN2820FYKH) mit Libreelec 7.9 und einem externen DAC betreiben. Bisher geht der Sound über HDMI geschliffen an die Anlage.
Dafür habe ich folgendes Gerät:

Bei mir handelt es sich um die BNC-Variante.
Ich verbinde es per USB mit meinem NUC und habe danach die Audioausgabe auch auf das Gerät mit SPDIF umgestellt und auch bei Passthrough das Gerät aktiviert und testweise alle Codecs etc. deaktiviert die evtl. zu Problemen führen könnten.
Nun ist mein Problem das ich nachdem einstecken ganz kurz einen Ton habe (Ich höre das klicken wenn ich mich in den Menüs
bewege) und danach bricht der Ton ab und das wars dann.
Ich habe mal eine Log von dem relevanten Teil erstellt:

OK did that and it worked. But i had to update my Skin first in order to make it work. So im running Estuary now, had some crashes, but mostly it looks quite good for now.
Some settings are still in English but i guess that not everything is translated yet.
