My setup is minix U9 -> HDMI -> yamaha audio receiver HTR-2071 -> TV.
No sound when playing video files after enabling audio passthrough.
Can anyone help me how to fix this?

minix u9, with 8.90.6, playback skips, voice audio sounds like chipmunks.
What could be the reason behind this?

I just bought minix neo u9-h, as recommended by wrxtasy , so what are the differences that I can feel between using kodi krypton android, libreelec 8231 kodi krypton, and libreelec 8904 kodi leia?
Better picture quality? Better UI responsiveness?

I am planning to convert my device into LE.
But first, I wanted to try LE by booting from SDcard before deciding to totally erase android os in my Minix, however I have difficulty finding guide on how to run LibreElec entirely from SD Card.
Care to give some hints howto ? -

My device is Minix X8-H plus, currently uses Kodi krypton 17.5, and almost all my 1080p MKV files stutter when played.
When I play the same MKV file from "XBMC for Minix", which is not a kodi 17, there is no stutter at all.
Are you suggesting that by using LibreElec Kodi Krypton on my device, this video stutter would be gone?
