Is there a way to dim the display? I just got a second box (Vorke Z6 this time) and the display is annoyingly bright...

yes the ugreen Ethernet adapter works perfectly I think it cost around £12
I just purchased this one, it works fine but I had to set the Kodi firewall to „OFF“ to access the box from the LAN (PC via SSH or Samba, Kodi iOS-remote). Is this always the case?

I'm using the Ugreen ethernet to usb adapter. Is it normal that I have to set the firewall inside Kodi to "OFF" to be able to connect to the box via PC or iOS remote?

Is the S905D the best choice if I want good support for CE/LE and Gigabit-LAN (incl. a good performance for Netflix and other Inputstream based Add-Ons) or is a S912 the better choice?
I currently have a 905X but have some trouble with the 100M network connection (Wifi is no option).

Icons work after installing the service, but the time is still upside down (with both VFDs)

Here is a picture of the display. From what I can see there is a LAN- and a WIFI-symbol, Play, Pause, USB and a clock(?).
The display stays like this even when a file is being played

Much better! The only thing is: it is showing the time now upside down 😊

The Coolest No, not really. When the box is turned off, the display is off, too (that's a progress, before it was showing "boot" the whole time).
When the box is turned on, the display just shows some random "-" signs and the Pause-icon is blinking (it does not matter if a video is running or a menu is on the screen).
Any ideas?

Hi guys,
based on some recommendations I purchased the Mecool M8s Pro Plus to run Kodi via Libreelec.
But: it seems that this (or my?) box does not have a reset button. There is the tiny hole on the downside of the box, opposite from the LAN and HDMI connectors but there is no button. I tried a toothpick and an office clip but it just does not „click“.
Any hints?
